Red Dead Redemption 2. Every time I do a few hours I get bored and realize I can watch a better movie. I turn on 'Young Guns' and I don't have to pretend to "play" something.
Hollow Knight, always get bored by the first Hornet fight and end up dropping the playthrough. Gitting gud to clear the Hornet fight was fun but waiting so fricking long for the dash ability really sucked ass and if the rest of the game has that pacing I ain't about it, sorry Hollow Knight stans.
im a hollowknight stan but yes that first few hrs are rough. but once you get good runes or whatever theyre called the game does open up and kicks up a few levels
Nfs most wanted. It didn't live up to the hype and it's kinda boring compared to all the other racing games I've played. I dunno it just didn't appeal to me.
Divinity Original Sin 2. I loved the first game, I love CRPGs, but for some reason I just keep bouncing off that game hard. I've started it like two dozen times at this point.
whats a CRPG?
Not that hot of a take:
>Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
It's always some point right after you save that person from the library. I think I've made it to the second part (new city?) of the city once. I remember going to a train station and being in a new part of the city or something. I think it had something to do with a bomb going off previously or maybe when I arrive. Maybe I'm misremembering that. Anyway I've tried at least 5 times now and I always get bored of it between those two points.
Just really frustrating because I even kind of like Invisible War. Or at least I don't hate it enough to not have replayed it once. I don't know how they managed to make a Deus Ex unplayable for me.
Any videogame of a homies-in-a-row variety.
Can't force myself to enjoy the spreadsheet simulations no matter how hard I try, no matter if it has true turns or energy-based action turns.
I've tried since I was a kid playing on NES, and the only ones I've finished and enjoyed are KOTORs and DA:O.
Same. But kotor2 was just force lightening spam and i never replayed
why dont I understand this? what is a n**gas in a row?
Dragon's Dogma. I've tried many times, but I just lose all interest when you get to the part where you transport that serpent head to Gran Soren.
I have never finished Dragons Dogma I always give up at the everfall which is the endgame like 50 hours in, I reaches the everfall 3 times but never finished the game
dark souls 1. frickin skeletons outside firelink, those wienersucking prick bastards. filtered me twice so far, but i recently learned that they're there basically to frick with you and you're supposed to go up through the aqueduct, so i'll be making attempt 3 soon.
three houses
>spoiler
all of it
Greedfall, I havent played it for more than 4 hours, Ive started it like 3 times and always give up at the beginning, it's just that the combat sucks ass and the girls arent hot so I don't have any motivation to keep playing
>the combat sucks ass
I finished Greedfall precisely because I enjoyed the combat. And the overall setting too I suppose. Too bad pretty much everything else ranges from mediocre to complete shit.
I played it on ps4 and didnt like anything about the combat, I just couldnt, what platform did you play it on and was it with a controller? I also was playing as the class that can throw bombs
PC and I played with a controller as well. And I was also using green tree (with guns, traps and bombs). I liked it from the start, but reaching the "ult" skill was also a big game-changer.
Maybe I'm just more jank-tolerant. I quite enjoyed Technomancer and Steelrising as well for example.
Pillars of Eternity. I went into the dungeon under the base you make and got bored after I got to the dragon and figured I needed to grind more.
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead.
>What part
The controls and the UI. It reads like my literal dream game but I just cannot get used to actually playing it.
Chrono Trigger. I get up to the girl vanishing in the time machine or whatever at the fair or whatever. It's like the very beginning. I just find the game ugly and boring.
SA2
I can get through it, it just takes a whole lot of tongue-biting and "I GUESS it was acceptable for a late 90's early 3D game"
Disco Elysium.
I feel like there's something super special underneath my character constantly jerking off about communism and the failures of both it, and capitalism, and royalty, and etc etc etc.
I must just be building my character wrong or something because my friend says they never get this shit, but its so fricking insufferable, and my friend who recommended it to me said the "FUNKY BABY" or whatever the frick he says hanged up in the tree was supposed to be a selling point.
Its just written like ass. Constantly. Like a roleplayer wrote it.
I got filtered after the game crashed for the third time in a row after doing the car examination in the ice. Haven't opened it for a month since.
Monster Hunter.
noita's sun quest
>get good run going
>accumulate health/perks for a few parelle worlds in preparation to make the sun
>lose all interest in continuing the run as all challenge is gone and firing my wand drops frames to an annoying amount
>Final Fantasy X-2
Whoever was in charge of the 100% completion/true ending for that game can die in a fire. Frick that guy
for me its UNDYING from clive barker. after the first level or two I lose interest
