>not wireless >not thicc enough for people with big hands >not smol enough for people with smol hands >bottom bottoms out or break out easily than other models
too heavy
Started double clicking for me.
Better mouse
People shilling G400 are jaded boomers who hasn't touched fps in more than decade. Any modern "gaming" mouse BTFO everything about it.
I'm on my second G502 because the first one started double clicking, so stock up on them before they discontinue it. It did last quite a few years anyway.
Double-click issue though there is a fix in most cases
Many unnecessary crevices that collect gunk/dust
Rubber side grips quickly "melt" from friction/sweat
I still love it for the ergonomics and the amount of extra buttons though. The price is relatively cheap too. Given the relatively low price I'll just keep buying a new one every 5 or 6 years.
Open it up and put a drop or two of electrical contact cleaner into the microswitches. It's not a permanent fix but it'll probably last for 1-2 years before you have to clean them again.
Only catch is that you have to remove the skates in order to access the screws, but you can buy a new set of skates or build up a few coats of fingernail polish as a DIY solution.
Every logitech mouse ive ever hard has started double clicking after a while so I switched to steelseries. So far im 3 years without double clicking. Literally all I want out of a mouse is not to double click I dont care about extra software shit.
i got the G305 recently and i'm not too happy with it. i just want a high performance standard 2 button mouse with wheel. it sucks that i sometimes click the buttons on the sides but there are no issues with it, i guess
It's not DAV3 wired. i almost bought this shit just because it was significantly cheaper. glad i didn't due to me worrying about having to RMA the fricking mouse for double clicking so soon.
>find mouse with perfect, unique shape >it's a $20 no name "gamer" brand
One day I will gut a wireless Logitech and put it inside the shell I desire. I just have to learn how any of that is done.
I've been through at least 3 of this mouse, first one had double click issues, the second had issues with the cabling, and the current/3rd one is working ok but I just know it's going to fail on me sooner or later.
Oddly enough I have the G203 or w/e for years and besides something rattling inside it's been working fine.
It looks exceptionally moronic. I went Razer for the first time just recently because they have a mouse with a high quality sensor that doesn't look like optimus prime fricked an hr giger sculpture.
You have my sympathies in advance when you buy a new mouse. My experience with Razer has been that they always, without fail, will break in some way or another. This is especially true if you travel and game via laptop.
I bought it because my gmx 518 legendary broke, which I bought because my g400s broke. I'm resigned to planned obsolescence in modern electronics, regardless of brand.
Razer really upped the quality of their products in the last few years.
Its still mostly gaudy and overpriced "gaymer" shit, but some if their things are really worth it, especially on a sale, which they often go. Mostly some if their mice and keyboards and for me personally their Goliath ir whatever its called mousepad is the best ever so I always get it.
Even some of their notoriously shit headsets are okay now, that new Blackshark has probably thr best mic of any gaymen set
Literally the GOAT mouse, loved it even a decade and a half ago, but then it was pure garbage quality-wise, took them so much time to make it great, but it finally works perfectly
Shame they decided to completely frick it up again and the new v3 version is fricking hideous and looks like a completely different mouse
Logitech is the only company where I've had buttons or scroll wheel break under a year.
Hell I had some shit Razer mouse I got for free back in 2010 and that shit lasted me till 2018.
The right side of the mouse has a texture similar to a cheese grater, and over the course of a year mine has built up with dead skin "cheese". I have had 2 now, and every 6 months to a year I have to dig out the "cheese" with a tooth pick. other than that its pretty good
It's not the G400.
People shilling G400 are jaded boomers who hasn't touched fps in more than decade. Any modern "gaming" mouse BTFO everything about it.
An expensive mouse doesn't make you play better.
Except I doubled my K/D after switching from g203. Cope shitter.
i went from gold to diamond in overwatch in two weeks after switching to superlight, there is a reason why all pros use it anon
Cringe visual design, otherwise perfect
>not wireless
>not thicc enough for people with big hands
>not smol enough for people with smol hands
>bottom bottoms out or break out easily than other models
Better mouse
in ergonomics
It has no thumbrest like the G502 tho
I like it except I keep hitting the front/back buttons above the thumb.
Outdone by the G502X. Except the scroll wheel. That thing is a atrocity compared to the one its predecessor had.
this fricker is never going to break so I'm never going to buy a newer mouse.
I'm on my second G502 because the first one started double clicking, so stock up on them before they discontinue it. It did last quite a few years anyway.
I've had this mouse since March 2017 and it still works fine lmao using it right now to fill in the captcha
too heavy

wieght,cable,shape,needs ghub trash installed
double clicks, been through five of them now
tried the g502x but the cable is trash and the shape of the mouse has changed. also, shitty scroll wheel
Build quality has been getting inferior.
I sometimes accidently mouse scroll during tense moments.
cringe "gamer" design, also uncomfortable if you're used to lighter mice
When used for a long period of time, gunk starts to build up in the ridges on the scroll wheel
wire
t. logishill
other than sorta shit battery life its great
Logitech is obsessed with their shitty (windows only) drivers. They should open-source them and let operation systems to handled them.
Every logitech mouse ive ever hard has started double clicking after a while so I switched to steelseries. So far im 3 years without double clicking. Literally all I want out of a mouse is not to double click I dont care about extra software shit.
fixed by the X series with the """mechanical""" optical switches
>X series
>All of them are like 150+ dollars
Fricking Logitech, they are just like Nvidia
every gayming mouse i've ever used started double clicking because they're all overpriced sweatshop garbage
The Mouse wheel - or more specifically - the middle mouse button, will break after less than 1 year of use.
G403, couple of years maybe; the scrollwheel has become so unreliable I always use number keys instead for weapon selection.
Taken it apart and removed a small carpet from beneath the wheel's dust cover. Seems to have helped.
>Seems to have helped.
Nope. Still getting occasional scrolling in the opposite direction.
i got the G305 recently and i'm not too happy with it. i just want a high performance standard 2 button mouse with wheel. it sucks that i sometimes click the buttons on the sides but there are no issues with it, i guess
The thumb area and the ridges get gunked up with sweat and dead skin easily and are difficult to clean
Optical mice feel like they track so much better than laser mice. the best mouse ive ever had was like a 20 dollar microsoft optical mouse.
the rubberized plastic leeches plasticizer in certain climates
Wheel gets unusable when it gathers enough gunk. Was never a problem with any other mouse.
Looks very vulnerable to gamer grease with all these ridges
It's not DAV3 wired. i almost bought this shit just because it was significantly cheaper. glad i didn't due to me worrying about having to RMA the fricking mouse for double clicking so soon.
It's under my hand right now and my only complaint is that the wheel has gone wacky a few times and needed to be re-set.
soft rubber parts that wear off and it is a b***h to clean
Never used this mouse but since it's made by Logitech I guarantee it double clicks after two months
I got a chineese knock off for $10 and it's working well after a year
Doubleclicking.
>find mouse with perfect, unique shape
>it's a $20 no name "gamer" brand

i wish i could configure different binds per program with on-board memory instead of having to waste cpu processes on their g-hub bloatware
>checkmates the thread
The only downside is that it has obnoxious red lighting, but I put duct tape over it and forget about it.
what in the livid frick
Opening to clean it and prevent/fix double clicking is a pain in the ass
They're not built to be opened. Impossible without breaking the plastic hooks.
It's not the steel series Sakura
Step aside plebs
spiky shit catching and getting caught on other shit
I've been through at least 3 of this mouse, first one had double click issues, the second had issues with the cabling, and the current/3rd one is working ok but I just know it's going to fail on me sooner or later.
Oddly enough I have the G203 or w/e for years and besides something rattling inside it's been working fine.
The scroll wheel brake for mine broke and I couldn't play any FPS games without suddenly swapping through my whole weapons inventory at random
that rubber shit on the left side melts and gets gross
my weak basedhands can't move it without struggling... I need to drill holes in it...
i can't
sweaty hands but once you apply grip texture onto the mouse it's flawless
It looks exceptionally moronic. I went Razer for the first time just recently because they have a mouse with a high quality sensor that doesn't look like optimus prime fricked an hr giger sculpture.

Fair, last time I picked one up was like 2015. Could be worth a look then.
The rubber grips wear out really fast
I can't. It's the greatest mouse ever made.
the DPI buttons are annoying and easily pressed by accident
doesn't have the white
Yeah, but that one doesn't have a braided cable.
I've had stiff braided cable that was worse than my current one without
using logitech g102
Literally the GOAT mouse, loved it even a decade and a half ago, but then it was pure garbage quality-wise, took them so much time to make it great, but it finally works perfectly
Shame they decided to completely frick it up again and the new v3 version is fricking hideous and looks like a completely different mouse
right-handed only
>sniper button
>scrollwheel goes rusty
>shitty cable
>double clicks
goes rusty
Do you live in a bog or some shit?
Not him but any place close to the sea gets fricked by rust.
its true, my third one is already starting to rust. if you have sweaty hands it will destroy the scroll wheel and the rubber thumb section
Humid environment
Can replace scrollwheel with the rubber one from the wireless version but you void your warranty.

Breaks way too quickly.
That's just Logitech because they know morons will just buy it again.
Myseld included.
too many buttons
i just want 2 mouse buttons and a clickable mouse wheel
It double clicks only after 5 years of intensive usage. What a piece of shit.
>
its good but the DeathAdder v2 is better
I got the feeling buying a cheap 5$ logitech and replace all the switches with high quality ones will last you longer than the actual 50$ products.
Probably right
Assuming different switches will fit.
I went from ancient MX518 to Basilisk V3 and I can't say a single bad word about it.
