You stupid b***h,
You stupid fricking b***h.
I can't believe how dumb you are...
Jesus Christ- I can't believe how fricking dumb you are. You are the dumbest motherfu-
did I play any games from 2023 this year? don't think so
oh, maybe cyberpunk 2.0 counts, if that counts, then that is both the best and worst game from 2023 I played
Despite its flaws it's one of the most fun experiences I've had in vidya for a very long time. Jet Set Radio revitalized my love for games years ago when I got to it late as a teenager and while I was skeptical about BRCF, it definitely delivers the same amount of hype.
Pizza tower
I dont care about jaded contrarians
I dont care about muh fanbase
I dont care about game awards
On just a pure gameplay basis Pizza tower moggs everyother game this year and its not even close. The 10/10 ost and artstyle are just icing on the cake. Anyone who disagrees most likely doesnt actually play video games (the modern Ganker user)
I really loved Lies of P. Like it was exactly what I needed in this barren wasteland that is a complete lack of good soulslike games. Very looking forward to any DLC or sequel.
Armored Core 6 was also great. Scratched an itch I havent gotten scratched in a really long time with a really great game. I really hope they keep going with more stuff. The fact that they are adding neat new parts as free DLC is icing too.
Remnant 2 was a great sequel and I loved the first DLC. Looking forward to the next 2. Most consistent fun co-op game of the year for me easily.
Octopath Traveller 2 was the best JRPG ive played in years. Loved the cast, the music, the gameplay. The crossover content was what I wanted out of the first game and finally got. A genuinely great experience. I feel genuinely bad for people that refuse to play it because its SE or they have a problem with the pseudo old school style.
Xenoblade 3 was pretty good and I enjoyed the familiar themes as a massive xenogears gay, since its basically the same exact shit but in a different setting. Gameplay wasn't amazing but it was alright and I found the sidequests DECENT. Overall a solid game but felt a bit bloated like all the xenoblade games have felt to me. Both good and bad, but more good than bad.
Stranger of paradise was great, and getting it with the all the DLC probably made it even better. Lies of P hit better with me overall but Stranger of Paradise has that low budget but loved feel I can appreciate.
Contenders; >Pizza Tower >Bomb Rush Cyberfunk >Lethal Company
Remakes; >Super Mario RPG Remake? >System Shock Remake?
Haven't really played some games due to my depression I guess,
I'd think; "this is my time to play [game]!" and I never
do it, but if I had to choose, it's Pizza Tower since it gave me that experience
I was looking for to chew on which is perfecting one stage at a time in a way
that I liked, any other game such as any AAA game has gotten me worn down
since I don't want to sink in 100 hours in or play an extremely generic game
Spent all year playing old shit, pic related was my favourite. Also honourable mentions: >Yakuza 3 (yes I liked the orphanage shit, if the combat wasn't block heavy it'd be my favourite >Zelda OOT (Finally slogged through it, glad I did, marvelous) >All Spark the Electric Jester games, all great >Tomb Raider III (Played the PC version previously, but PS1 version is so much better)
None. Nothing particularly enamored me this year unfortunately. RE4R was close before I had an experience which led to a revelation about its combat. Wish I could something to enjoy from this year, but atleast I played some of the best games ever this year from last year's.

Itll be my GOTY 2024 when its relatively bug free, at least for the parts of the game I care about.

This has always confused me. Is being the right answer a part of the joke?
Cool ranch came out before ranch.
You're fricking with me, right? You're not genuinely suggesting Cool Ranch Doritos came out before ranch dressing, are you?
It's actually him Americanizing politics. You get angry over goyslop, and you kill people.

System Shock. If you don't count remakes then Amnesia the Bunker.
None. Nothing particularly enamored me this year unfortunately. RE4R was close before I had an experience which led to a revelation about its combat. Wish I could something to enjoy from this year, but atleast I played some of the best games ever this year from last year's.

I'm going to kill myself on Friday
Here and now you can fix things, you may not be able to Saturday. I’d at least look up boltzmann equation before hand.
You shouldn't
Lurk forever.
If we are on a static sized universe than the Nobel prize winning boltzmann equation says this is literally your fate.
casual friday?
oh yeah, i forgot to tell you i always loved you...
It's a switch between Everspace 2 and System Shock's remake.
Pikmin 4 and probably Subnautica
Don’t play the sequel, let it end a great game.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, probably.
