Battle mechanics seemed deep and realistic enough to spark my interest.
But I got filtered by the atrocious UI and autistic combat controls.
It has been long (missile update) since then, so I might give it an another go.
woah wtf this game looks much better now
last i checked it looked like it belonged in 1999
The graphics haven't changed, you're just a moron.
who, me?
Nebulous fleet command's strategic layer is in the first wave of open testing and it looks incredible.
You can sign up on their discord, if you get a test spot hit me up and we can form a goon team.
I haven't played in a while, I'm waiting on the strategic game tbqh
>built a bb with full PD
>still get raped by missiles
wtf, I'm too stupid to design my own ships
>BB
you're gonna get so many missiles going your way you better have PD and AMMs out the ass
a lot of the spam missiles use simple radar guidance to reduce costs, which means chaff is less of a meme than you might think
especially agaisnt spam the flak turrets are way better than the gun ones, those can't hit shit anyway so they're only good if you can't afford better.
also if you carry RPF shells and smaller size guns they'll automatically fire them as PD unless tasked otherwise, this is only really useful on smaller ships tho.
I'd put defences on every small sized mount and offload radars n shiet to a friggy. you can get the radar suite with a built in targeting radar if you're afraid you'll lose the frigate. the 1 slot you'll free up by not having an external targeting radar there could save your life.
tbh the ship design is the funnest part of the game, actually playing the thing can be insufferable. a lot of times it's just about which team has the most sweaty highrank players and you're just kinda there cheering them on.
>ewar
I fricking forgot about ecm
going to shoot myself brb
>ewar
oh yeah I forgor, you can radar jam radar missiles and comms jam RC missiles, that helps too.
games that have bad controls and undisclosed mechanics are good because they keep normies away.
I know at least one of you frickers will be in the closed conquest beta. better post pics.
instead of normies we have transsexuals.
it's not a good trade
is this based on something or did they just pick a random ship to call trans? the quotes in the pic don't seem to have anything to do with transgenderisms
whoops, gatekept too hard. better luck next time.
What's the difference?
troony devs, troony game.
new devlog
i have it installed and i like the hardsf aspect to it but i never play it. just too tedious to learn all the crap. maybe one day i'll paly it
just build a light cruiser with a bunch of guns and PD and don't think about Wear or missiles or whatever.
that's how I do it, just rush the enemy, frag out, get shot to shit, then alt tab and jerk off until the round finishes.
Why even assign units to values if every number is fricking moronic?
I cant even beat the ai, even with an advantage. I am so bad at this game.
What do?
Update: I am so bad at beating the ai, i dont even get a single shot in before i lose a ship.
The game needs a baby mode for me.
Make a sensor ship. Load it up with the best sensor array you can get and scan where you think the enemy is coming from. If you find one, you should get a signal before you can actually see them. Lock it in and then task your gunships with firing at it
try playing on the empty space map
make a fleet with like 4 sacrificial sensor corvettes you send forward and 1 big ship with railguns and long range missiles n shiet
>Flat Chest
Nebber is our word
