Was using the detonator as an improvised grenade launcher economically viable? I remember using it like that despite the pulse rifle and line gun bolas being available. Was i stupid?
Was there ever a lore reason why cutting off the limbs was their weak point? It's a great combat mechanic, but I can't remember any justification in universe as to why it's so effective.
they're not alive and you can't kill them, dismembering them just stop them from moving for a while before their flesh get repurposed by the hive mind
it's explicitly said in the books and the remake
Isn't it because they're just dead tissue, so blasting off the limbs prevent locomotion. Taking out the head or just putting holes in the torso, things that would kill a human, doesn't really work on a necromorph.
You can't really kill a Necromorph
you'd only truly kill them by destroying the entire body.
Cutting them apart reduces their mobility the signal controlling the Necromorphs will give up on a host body if it is no longer useful as a killing tool. so when a slasher "dies" it's just the signal giving up on the body as it's now useless in it's state. but it will still become useful later as any biomass at all will be used in convergence.
Then why can you kill them by shooting and burning?
You don't kill them you just make them unusable as "soldiers".
In the lore a destroyed slasher would be turned into another smaller necromorph or corruption if there's not enough biomass
They don't die, if you stomp them you can see tiny tendrils still moving about in the original, had a bug in the remake were a slasher corpse was still breathing and it was cool

because it's a video game
same reason Isaac doesn't get insta killed when attacked by them

Was there any lore reason for why cutting off your penis makes you a "woman"?
#shots_fired
>on Ganker no one knows your a Necromorph

Are markers good for you?
Yes just look what the Marker did to me. I have never felt better.
They are marking points of interest on the map, so yeah
OH SHIT WHADDUP?!
What were they thinking by making necro with a young naked female body
You wouldn't a necro, right?
How'd they get away with it... I can see the insides...
>Make us whole
The marker wants you to impregnate it
can you frick it?
Necromussy?
