>Games are made for windows and you're lucky to even be able to play any at all
actually yes, you are correct, because microsoft has spent decades of effort and billions of dollars desperately trying to prevent linux from becoming a viable gaming platform, going as far as paying manufacturers off and sabotaging open standards and APIs
and despite this in only 5 years linux went from unusable for games to a solid alternative to windows, all because some fat frick got fed up with pajeets breathing down his neck while he was counting his shekels
>it's Microsofts fault >its not ours for creating a shit OS and not fixing it in like 25 years, so that a normie can properly use it >lets change this GUI here, and that there and this again, done with the new release >yes, it's just like Microsoft >and we must not do bug fixes, because bug fixing is boring, let's instead create new features that no one asked for instead

As a normalgay who could not into Linux at the start it is pretty easy to use and has improved to a degree that I got constantly confused about when all of these problems with Arch would kick in that are in all the Ganker images until I realized that they're all outdated as frick and you just need the wiki and to not be afraid of the terminal.

I don't think you understand how moronic normalgays are
>all the raging windows defenders (paid or do it for free) in any thread that even remotely suggests that you can liberate yourself and keep your video games >somehow not third stage
the more tech industry fricks you, the more I laugh
stay mad
I'm in no way a linuxgay, but hasn't everything become more Linux compatable these last years? pretty sure SteamDeck has sold very well, and I think win11 has a package manager installed from the get-go.
As I said, I've never used it personally, but I can clearly see where this is going.
If a game has no native Linux build, AND has some bullshit in there like anticheat that prevents it from at least working with Wine/Proton, that is a perfectly valid reason to leave a negative review
I used to, and I still keep a Windows partition around just in case, but I can't remember the last time I really needed it. Proton has gotten to the point where games that don't work are the exception, not the rule.
Bro, just use pipe-viewer to search youtube (or an invidious instance since youtube doesn't respect your freedom) from terminal for the cutscenes and then download them with yt-dlp and play them in mpv. It's simple. Everything is so easy. It just works.
>Gnu + linux
>Not as I have recently taking to calling it "GNU plus Linux"
frick you obamaleaf
It is a valid criticism.
No it isn’t. Do you buy an Xbox game and complain it doesn’t work on your PlayStation? God Linuxgays are so fricking braindead.
If I get a PC game I expect it to work on my PC. No, PC is not a Microsoft platform, if you want that get an Xbox.
Keep seething penguinBlack folk

We're at the second stage for at least 3 decades. Any day now.

If your game doesn't work on Konqi's platform, then your game is worth nothing at all. Simple as.
Konqi > your game (any game)
linux tards are the biggest morons
>I refuse to use a normal GUI because MUH COMMAND LINE
use powershell in windows you homosexuals
No.
then dual boot. windows for games.
I used to, and I still keep a Windows partition around just in case, but I can't remember the last time I really needed it. Proton has gotten to the point where games that don't work are the exception, not the rule.
your FUD is outdated, pajeet
write some new ones that are more accurate
Why do linjeets always conveniently ignore the many games that are still fricked because the cutscenes dont work properly?
>ignore
it's a known issue and people are working on the solution
go support them and the solution will be developed faster

Remember these funny "delete c:windowssystem32" trolls, that never really worked?
On Linux some morons thought it would be a great idea to make that work.
Bro, just enter "rm -rf /". That will install the latest Duke Nukem on your PC.
