Data packs are just a cool side effect of changing the code, like they're throwing us bones, if they wanted a marketplace on java they'd make behavior packs compatible so they can have the marketplace be cross-platform, but there's not much point in that since about 90% of players are on bedrock and the real mtx consumer base is on mobile and consoles.
Gamergate has never had that much impact in the grand-scale of this, it was just the natural outcome of the people's backlash against years of obnoxious journalists, it's just more surprising it happened to videogame journalists first.

how do you play preloaded minecraft without internet off a usb? None of the cracked launchers work. They all require internet to install shit.
