I did, but I think it was due to circumstance. I was living in a storage room with no internet at the time, and the only games I had were NWN (and its expansions), BG2 ToB, PS:T, VTMB and Morrowind. This was also back during a time when smartphones weren't really a thing so playing those games with pretty much no access to internet was probably the most fun I've ever had playing vidya.
>- This mod shows lesbian love. >- The mod is written in 3rd person, with my poor and limited English. >- There´s no roleplay nor rp choices. Selena is Selena and the mod acts more like a sims than an actual rpg. >- This mod requires you play with, and only with, Selena. >- This mod don´t uses anything NWN1 related; no XP, quests, treasure, combat, feats, skills,... >- This mod is set in modern days, so no armors, swords nor spells (except for Selena´s powers).
>- There´s no breathtaking history to unveil, plot to finish nor memorable NPC´s; nothing to gain nor loose and no deaths, respawns or game over.
This fricker made another one of these, called "Teen Bloom".
He even has a whole site just dedicated to the module.

To quote,
"In Teen Bloom you play as Selena, a rich and lively girl who loves to have fun and enjoy the life with her twin sister Sasha.
Follow her as she discovers love and sex while she goes to school, attends her home chores and hang out.
[FEATURES] ----------------------------

A bright, girly, positive mood tone.

Selena´s look customization through dresses, accessories and make-up.
Babies to take care of.
Animated sex scenes.

Consensual sex.
Pregnancy.
Birth.
It does not uses any of the Neverwinter or fantasy related things like magic, classes, combat, XP.... It´s some sort of a modern girl life sim, but with it´s own peculiarities.
The game uses a database to track important things, so the player no needs to save it. The main reason for this is that I usually add, change or improve things quite often and I don´t want to play again and again the module.
Note: The game purposely doesn´t reference Selena´s age. "Officially" she´s 18, but if you play her as 16, 18 or 20 yo is up to you and your imagination ;-). Anyway she always will be a bit childish lol."
Are there any PWs out there that don't suck ass, are barren wastelands or don't force you to mod the game into what's pretty much an entirely different one?
I wanted to try playing nwn2 motb since people are always saying it's some kind of masterpiece, so I played the base game first, and it completely killed my motivation to continue with motb lmao.
Base nwn2 seriously chokes on horse wiener, and the intro to motb was not convincing me it was any better.
My greatest hope is that one day someone will come up with a good turn based top down with easy modding and it gains a community that just goes full moron.
It'd be so good.
Old CRPGs were coded to be modular and dynamic.
This design philosophy allows developers to churn out new content on the fly, and easily outsource expansions to get pajeets or ho-lung-chang to easily code and import models for the game.
But making your program modular is a tough and tedious task in itself, so if you aren't planning on making a billion expansions, and would rather follow a stringent, linear roadmap, you are better off just neglecting modularity altogether.
I had tons of fun with NWN, but I will never deny that this game is ugly as sin. Absolutely nasty 3D rendering. Should have taken lessons from Infinity Engine games, but then it probably wouldn't be as moddable.
Everything you do is considered in-character, so if you attack someone you have to have a good IC reason (ie. you're a bandit or something, whatever) and you should be up for roleplay when you're going around the world if you bump into another character
On this Ocem server it's pretty good, the theme is cool quasi-roman shit and the RP doesn't feel too cringe
i like the game but i hate how i am constantly fricking with the camera. its just an awkward presentation
That's just part of the soul. The game being janky stops moronic twitter users ever playing it online
Try driving camera mode
3rd edition best edition
For autists who like their character sheet to play the game for them, sure. Real men don't play anything past 1'st edition.
I would like the game a lot more if you could play with a full custom party instead of just one guy but it's still really good
Did anyone ever actually play the core modules?
Feels like everyone just played it for the mods lol.
I did, but I think it was due to circumstance. I was living in a storage room with no internet at the time, and the only games I had were NWN (and its expansions), BG2 ToB, PS:T, VTMB and Morrowind. >tfw Aribeth's boobs were conspicuously the only thing in that game with jiggle physics
All i did was hang out in any server with the Circus Maximus module/mod thing online
lol indeed

This is some serious fricking autism.
I have and they aren't great. NWN2 is much better in that regard but it had a shit toolset
HotU was a blast, I played like 10+ different builds through that campaign.
I did, I finished the main campaign of NWN1 as a basic b***h 2h fighter. Getting boots of haste later in the game made my guy very powerful.
Most people I know play on Persistent Worlds. Single player is dogshit
>persistent worlds
I remember that roleplay autism.
Are there any PWs out there that don't suck ass, are barren wastelands or don't force you to mod the game into what's pretty much an entirely different one?
I play on "Sunset over Ocem". Pretty good but only active during EU hours.
It is an RP module though
I love it even though all the players never shower
I only played to jerk off to a dance with rogues/spies
you've got some learnin to do!
i'll spill yer guts!
deekin deekin deekin deekin deekin deekin deekin deekin greets the noble hero
For me, it's a dance with rogues

what are some MUST play Modules for neverwinter nights 1 ihave never played any and want to
Demon Heart
Bastard of kosigan
Aielund saga
Dance with rogues
looks p cool, what module is this?
might try it out tbh, alot of the public modules are just the same shit and it gets really fricking tiring, rp sounds comfy
It's 100% roleplay so keep that in mind if you begin doing insane Ganker schizo shit you will probably be wasted
>NWN
>Modders heaven
>NuCRPGs
>Literally fricking nothing
What went wrong

>2022
>still no horse show module
It's over.
I had tons of fun with NWN, but I will never deny that this game is ugly as sin. Absolutely nasty 3D rendering. Should have taken lessons from Infinity Engine games, but then it probably wouldn't be as moddable.
yes it didn't look as good but as a result was modular and moddable.
i refuse to play on any server that allows powerbuilding
t. 12 charisma fighter/rogue
How deep does roleplay autism go? To the point where you have to write out every action before committing them?
no, since when casting a spell your character is already acting it out f.ex
Everything you do is considered in-character, so if you attack someone you have to have a good IC reason (ie. you're a bandit or something, whatever) and you should be up for roleplay when you're going around the world if you bump into another character
