Is DSC bad? Maybe Samsung’s Odyssey monitor will have DP2.1, it will have its own OLED tech with QD-OLED and 31.5” 4k screen with 240Hz refresh rate
Yes and also qd-oled is terrible compared to woled or the superior rgb stripe oled (asus pro art oled)

Is it because the frequency spectrum of the subpixels is narrower on qd-oled compared to WOLED?
From my understanding qd-oled subpixels are blue phosphors sitting behind fluorescent 'quantum dots' that emit photons at a specific wavelength where as with WOLED, it's white subpixels with a wider frequency spectrum sitting behind color filters.
DAC is visually lossless. There is obviously a difference but you will never be able to tell. DAC is still shit though. Expect all types of black screens when gaming or alt tabbing out of games, and random system freezes when you wake monitors up.
