What the frick would AA7 even be about?
Phoenix is a dead horse
Apollo should fricking stay in his shithole along with everyone from there and Athena lacks the charisma to be the star of the show in a game, let alone a trilogy.
>and Athena lacks the charisma to be the star of the show in a game, let alone a trilogy.
Then let her earn her charisma. Why do people think it's impossible for characters to improve? >But they did a bad job with Apollo in AA5 & AA6.
Perhaps, but Yamazaki is no longer working on the series, so at least a new writer will be better in comparison in that regard, possibly.
They could soft reboot it like Apollo, with Athena in her 20s and Phoenix being more of a distant mentor appearing only at some crucial point fanservice . You can drag these stories forever as long as you have some fresh ideas, look at detective Conan.
Ace Attorney 7 will come out once you check this 7
Apollo's gimmick is shit and should never return. Phoenix's is fine, but can be done by anybody with a magatama. Athena's is fun. The new trilogy should have a new protag backed by Athena and Pearl.
>What the frick would AA7 even be about?
Apollo returns and more forgotten characters from his past resurfaces. It's up to Phoenix to help him sort it out again.
presumably that anon is implying people didn't like that the only returning characters from 2/Alpha were Ryu and Ken and literally everyone else was new

It's the opposite. It was supposed to be a complete changing of the guard but they pussied out at the last moment and brought back Ryu, Ken and Chumlee.
Apollo Justice was fine though
It would've been better without Phoenix or if it was a Phoenix game to begin with. What's the point of passing the torch if you have the old protagonist breath down your neck the entire game?
They better hurry up, If they keep aging them in real time Maya is going to go through menopause and they'll still be in will-they-wont-they mode.
Son of Wright: Psychic Lawyer
will never be real then

5 and Ace Attorney gets a DmC style reboot
Apollo Justice is already a thing.

If my post ends in a number, people will say nice things about me. 🙂
5 and Maya marries me

Sebastian's game!
Sebastian would work (de)best in Investigations 3. Honestly AAI3 sounds like a better concept than AA7 at this point.
what would you do in AAI3?
He will never be officially localized
*spits out cereal*
The return of Franziska.
Checked.

It'll be about a mystery that falls apart at the end and throws a meta twist about how this is all a video game series meant to entertain the masses.
>pantyhose
When are Maya and Phoenix getting married so they can have a kid and we do mock trials and cases in middle/high school?
Never. Capcom is deathly afraid of passing the torch ever since Street Fighter 3.
What happened there?

Holy fricking never, Ace Attorney is fricking done and everything after the DS games has sucked except for DGS.
Now Hotel Dusk, on the other hand, needs a third game IMMEDIATELY.
>AA7 cancelled
Probably never. A full reboot is the only option left.
>those hands
Frick off AI gays. Artist lives matter.
