Todd won, it's official.
>release game on labor day weekend
>make it so you have to pay extra for it though
almost the perfect plan if RUNE didn't ruin it
still going to wait to see what happens with the first few patches. with whales paying to beta test they should start pushing patches this weekend.
24 million dollars earned for todds coffers.
Game cost 200 million.
Just a bit more to go, kek.
Even worse, it was above 400 million in budgeting used LMAO AND ITS STILL FRICKING TERRIBLE.
400 million? What the frick?
it's not 400 mil
Ganker and a few sony gays are the only people doomering over the game. Reddit is loving it now, all the posts on twitter are postitive as well
combat is good. really good.
Reddit would love crawling through a mile of shit just to get their tenth booster.
>t-the vaxx
>2023
holy frick
lmfao is this mfing nerd suggesting a BGS game is a good immsim. is he fricking moronic
are you seriously saying were wrong because reddit said something else, i usually dont care about site wars but you are the biggest homosexual ive seen this week and thats a hard fought fight in this site, have a nice day shill
He's not saying you're wrong, he's just saying there's a big contrast in what people on reddit and twitter (which aren't anonymous forums, therefore people act more civil and genuine) say than what people on Ganker say, which just makes Ganker seem disingenuous. Stop acting like a shit flinging monkey when you read the word "Reddit".
If anything it makes reddittards look worse since they only parrot the most PC thing to say so they won't get downvoted and their history-log looked through by autists.
Imagine making this post 5 years ago
Praising reddit and twitter unironically
Where did we go wrong? Did we not tell morons like you to frick off enough times?
Does Starfield have good verticality in its dungeons/levels? That's why they were always shit, because every area was a straight horizontal line
Prey was good because you could move around the dungeon/level in multiple ways in multiple planes
It's in no way an Arkane game but there are dungeons where there are obvious flanking pathways.
No playstation owner cares about this game, they have better shit to play.
>they have better shit to play.
lol
lmao
They didn't even bought the worst Final Fantasy since XIII.
Reddit would love any kind of shit, there were celebrating that a streamer showed they could fly to another planet, in only took 7 hours in real life for a 2.300km trip in a spaceship. The better part that they don't say, she couldn't land kek.
Its all shills and doomers, any honest review will be buried among shitposting.
I never really understood the complaints over fast travelling because I was never going to stare at a screen for months, years or centuries before I could start a one hour quest. But I have to admit the immersion level increased quite a bit knowing I'm not staring at a high quality jpg. If I really wanted to, I could push the controller stick forward toward that amazing looking planet and get there by Christmas 2030 if I really want to.
These complaints are really nonsensical, there are much worse problems with the game.
Plus you are staring at a jpg, sorry mate, the streamer tried to land and it went in through it.
>I could push the controller stick forward toward that amazing looking planet and get there by Christmas 2030 if I really want to.
No you can't, the skybox is fake and the planets aren't really there.
test
I doubt it will more than double that on release. $100 is not an impediment to a Bethesda Boomer. Zoomers tight on money aren't the target audience.
It’s actually at 500k+ right now if you count gamepass users
Tf? Isn't that grim? Zoomers are not not the demographic of bethesda games so their demographic have already played starfield. At release that may even 3x and it will be a flop if that's the case.
the steam user count is only low because people dont know the game is out yet. because jim ryan was a homosexual and decided to have a playstation sale the same day as it released, so theres no advertisements on steam. If they actually had a banner this wouldn't have happened.
Link to steam chart?
>DEPLOY THE FAKE ACCOUNTS
>yfw starfield peaks higher than bg3
>our glorified rpg porn game got dethroned by Starfield AHHHHHHHHHH
>troony game gets dethroned by another troony game
I'll admit, it's a little entertaining
Starfield reached the peak of most refunds ever for a steam game.
sauce?
I love how Snoygays just make shit up out of thin air. The only people that would know refund numbers are Microsoft and Valve.
>source?
>a guy called Dr.God on steam forums
>not only a medical professional but also the creator of the universe
If you can't trust him then who can you trust?
The only reason I don't say Starfield will 100% break BG3 peak record is because of Game Pass, a lot of people may end up playing the game there. If it wasn't for that Starfield would definitely be the most played game of the year on Steam.
GET WOKE GO BRO- ACK!
Some edit shazam into him
PRONOOOOOOUNS I HATE ENGLISH!!!
Meanwhile, BG3 just hit its weekly peak of 585k. Over 30% higher than its thursday peak of 445k. How come Starfield's weekend/hooliday bump was only measly 5%? There should have been way more people playing this weekend than during its thursday evening opening. The only way that makes sense if people are actually NOT playing starfield anymore, and are, in fact, refunding it. This doesn't bode well for Starfield's full launch. I predict a historically catastrophic post-launch drop as reality and disappointment sets in and people realize those 7/10 reviews were not only fair and honest, but even slightly too generous. Starfield is going to have the worst legs of any modern bethesda game.
Tomorrow it will reach 1 mill.
It wouldn't surprise if it hits 1.5 million. Normalcattle don't care about reviews or poor word of mouth. They saw it being marketed and hyped up for years so they already pre-ordered and made up their mind.
It's also possible that these 250k people playing the premium edition are majority of its full playerbase and that it might struggle to hit 500k when it's fully out. Presales for Starfield have been really bad. Worse than Elden Ring, worse than Cyberpunk, worse than Hogwarts Legacy and worse than BG3. It even dropped to #2 a couple of times this week.
This game is way harder to run on PC than either BG3 or Elden Ring, realistically it will hit a steam player count of around 500-600k peak.
I'm so fricking happy right now. Starfield is an awesome game and I got my NEETbux approved. I haven't been this happy in I don't know how many years.
how do i get this?
Try killing yourself a few times, not even kidding.
>side quest 1
Walk 30 meters, press E on 3 switches
>side quest 2
Walk 300 meters, press E on 3 switches
>quest line ends
>side quest 3
Go to an NPC, press a single dialogue option, go to another NPC, then go to location
>side quest 4
Fast travel to small space station, press E on a crate
Is that fricking it? Is this Bethesda RPG we waited for? TES6 died for THIS?
What a nothingburger kek
the numbers arent bad considering its $100 and its also free on gamepass in a couple days
>Gamepass
Nobody uses it
I use it thoughever
I use gamepass, I'm actually waiting for the release
Gamepass is the best thing in gaming by a Ling shot
ser please do not redeem the pass how could you skip beautiful futa wiener wifu? sir baldars gate 3 is waiting for you
I'm going to sub for this game and Lies of P.
I use the $0.99 version on occasion and cancel then repeat a few months later. Microsoft has extracted $5 from me in total
Both games are shit
What are the achievement stats for BG3? Like how many of the normalgays who bought the game actually played more than 10 hours (the average length of most streamer bait AAA releases)?
Something that isn't early access vs something that is still in early access? It's still lower than Hogwart Legacy's early access peak I think but it should do better once everyone has access to it. Too bad this has taught other developers it's okay to charge a few days of early access. I guess they don't care about microtransactions now if they are willing to do that.
this has been a thing microsoft has done with all their 1st party games ever since gamepass became a thing. $30 upsell to the premium edition and you get early access. everyone with gamepass has to wait another week, and m$ gets their extra launch revenue
*ahem
>horse armour
it's been a thing with bethesda since forever
What’s your honest opinion on this: “devs, from now on, will charge more for early access for the game, but will not charge for microtransactions”?
BG3 early access was a fraction of this, and it didn't cost 100$.
>$60 quality game still has 100k's of players attention over a month after release
>meanwhile Todd trannies are defending bugfield in its state as a $100 game
Lads I think blizzard shills have competition
>in early access.
>on Xbox too
>on Game Pass.
And people here are convincing themselves the game will flop.
The next few days will be hilarious.
no one’s convinced it’ll flop. everyone’s laughing at how bad it is
Is the new woke bethesda space game?
Is there really that many woke steam players?
We did it, Starchads. This game is going to go down as a classic. Like Skyrim, it'll be a part of gaming culture just to experience it. May as well bend the knee to Todd now and just get it over with.
Considering this is split over steam and gamepass, feels like that's some good numbers. Am I wrong? Especially as gamepass will be free on Wednesday AND the normal editions on Steam will unlock.
>Not even 1/4 of BG3
What an absolute disaster. I would not be surprised if Todd commits seppuku.
Anon, less than 5% of players bought the deluxe edition that grants early access.
the game is not even out yet you braindead snoydrone
oh no no no no no no
Starfield sisters not like this...
Still 88 on PC.
less reviews
>game not released
>over 200k players
soooo.....
it's not a flop?
Hogwarts Legacy had over double the player count in early access
This is a flagship Bethesda release, it was supposed to be the biggest game of the year by far
Did Hogwarts peaked during early access or after launch?
this cope
>Hogwarts Legacy
that game had more appeals to non-gamers due to the name it was associated with, starfield had no such advantage yet still has or had over 200k people playing the game early access
so it really isn't a flop
that's you tbh, how can you compare this to hogwarts legacy, a game associated with a franchise that people have memories of since they were kids?
I wouldn't compare it with Hogwarts Legacy but with Skyrim and Fallout 4.
It's not a flop -- a Bethesda game can't flop. It's a big underperformance, though -- a massive disappointment.
Xboxbros... we got a great but not perfect game... our console is finished
Its gonna shoot up on Wednesday
B-BUT THE PRONOUNS
>B-but the transwoman Black person clone
It can get a lot worse.
LITERALLY WHO
Let me guess, all the peaks are at china hours
>it was clearly on a terminal decline until the muh pronouns controversy
>Ukrainian flag
Is Ukraine a new gender now?
Its fricking over
This was our last change
What do we do now
why do snoys pretend they hate bethesda games now when they were still happily suffering through the ps3 ports of NV and skyrim back in the day
Bethesda's main audience has always been on PC, at least until now.
GET REKT BG3 homosexualS
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
DILATE DILATE DILATE DILATE
>even more bugs than usual
>combat that would have been passable 10 years ago
>open world so absurdly huge and empty it feels like a mockery of the genre
>uglier npcs than Oblivion
I expected a lazy rehash of fallout 4 and Todd still managed to disappoint, what the frick.
the early access kills the game, this is peak lmao
How's it not reached 300k at yet?
most of the people who are playing right now are people who preordered the early access. Nobody is buying it right now because the standard edition comes out tomorrow for 30$ less.
>Can't even break 300k
Was there ever any doubt. Todd wins again.
it's over, your game flopped bethesda sister
Starfield is weak, but in the alternate reality where Sony got the exclusivity rights like they wanted you just KNOW Snoys would be shilling this game to high heaven.
and rightfully so.
imagine experiencing the galaxy through the power of the dualsense. you xbots need to realized that games are inherently more SOULFUL when experienced on the PS5.
Baldur's Gate won.
>Most anticipated Bethesda release in a decade
>Barely half the peak player count of BG3.
>imagine being this invested in promoting this dogshit on Ganker for Bethesda
How much are they paying you?
My payment is getting to see Gankertards seething 🙂
That's pathetic.
At least real shills are getting compensated.
>200k
that's it?
I don't care how many ppl play, or what the score is. I got it for the mods and I'm enjoying it. I'm sure if I was expecting something more than usual Bethesda jank I'd be mad. Still finding new stuff over 30hr into the game, still unlocking research stuff, still finding new weapon types. Having ships land and attack your base now and then if you're wanted is pretty kino too. Maybe I'm just easily entertained, but Sid Meyers Pirates and Starflight are two of my fave games ever and this reminds me of both mixed with fallout+daggerfall.
Diablo 4 and Starfield are scams
FRICKING PRONOUNS!!!
frick you Ganker it's actually good
