I know absolutely zero about blazblue, but in passing I have ALWAYS thought that was an ass pic. It wasnt until today that I finally took a closer look and realized what is actually going on.
>original creator leaves company >immediately rape the series again by making the next entry another mobileshit game
Good God I would be utterly embarrassed and depressed if I was Mori, fricking hell.
moron shouldn't have wasted years on a terrible gacha no one wanted that was already dated by the time it released. Even some chink mobile roguelite is still more respectable than that.
Saddest part was the FIRST mobile game, Revolution Reburning, was pretty cool. A beatemup that adapted the fighting game moves well. Back in 2015 at that, doing action well before most others were trying on mobile devices.
Mori got the Alex Ahad treatment and it makes me really fricking sad. I mean at the very least Mori is friends with Daisuke and still retweets Blazblue shit on twitter so he might have SOME control of the lore, unlike Alex who barely mentions Skullgirls.
Most phone games like this are made by the Chinese. A lot of companies would usable IPs tend to outsource development of mobile games to Chinese companies because it's usually cheaper. China has a much better infrastructure when it comes to the development and distribution of mobile gacha games than Japan now. It's why they're dominating so hard on that front and more or less edged Japan out. The trade-off, of course, is that in the course of doing so they completely oversaturated the market, hence why Japan's kinda lost interest in developing these games themselves now. China's bad habit of just aping on whatever's popular has been biting them in the ass. Budget games like this one's inevitably gonna tend to have short shelf lives, mainly because there's dozens of other gachas at any given time in the same genre with the same level of quality. Higher-budget projects tend to hit the same dead ends as well, since everyone's trying to be the next Genshin Impact.
Subsequently, there's an interesting sort of symbiosis between Japan and China now when it comes to budget mobile gacha games. Chinese gachas are basically all the same in terms of quality and budget, meaning what separates them is generally gonna be IP. China has no internationally strong IPs, so a lot of their gachas end up being original creations. However, due to how oversaturated the medium is, it's gotten harder and harder for completely original IPs to gain any momentum. Japan, however, has a BUNCH of internationally significant IPs, but don't really want to develop gacha games themselves. So they enter into partnerships with Chinese companies, lending their IPs to them which the Chinese develop cookie cutter games for. Due to how good Chinese infrastructure tends to be for these kinds of things, they tend to have less problems at launch than Japanese titles as well. But, again, the issue is staying power. These games are all pretty much the same so they lose steam fast.
For some reason, this has been sort of a trend with low-budget Chinese gachas lately, at least as far as marketing goes. Digimon's been doing it too. I dunno what started it though.
so what? its made for Japs/other Asians. Normal people dont play that.
Daaaamn. Ragna's ass looks like THAT!?

It will be a rogueLITE, no one makes roguelikes anymore.
Surprised it's still coming out after Mori bailed. Guess they already invested too much.
God I wish there was more porn of Nine

No it's all shit, roguetism is equally cringe just for different reasons

>Mori got the Alex Ahad treatment
No he didn't. Guy made a shitty tag game and a garbage gacha, rightfully got demoted and left the company.
Wasn't this announced before he left?
barely
>roguelike
As long as Guilty Gear's still around, BlazBlue will probably never get another fighting game.
Considering the current state of GG, it's for the best.
Is this even official?
its actually being made by the team behind revolution reburning
I'm only interested in blazblue if my cute and bratty daughterwife is there
me gusta ragna culo
Didn't they just kill their BB gacha?
Nobody in the west gives a shit about Blazblue. Call me when they do this with Guilty and then I'll be pissed.
Why is that women speaking Chinese? Is this chinkshit?
