Far From Home was so forgettable, people actually need to be reminded it exists. And why did people see No Way Home? The actors want to negotiate better contracts for the reuse of their virtual likeness. You can blame the problem on either side, depending on how you look at it. Either the actors are demanding too much. Or, the studios are cheap bastards, and not paying their fair share.

you avoid all these copyright likeness legal swamps. nobody needed facial models for final fantasy games, amano and nomura drew some fricking characters and that was their design, they then modelled them to try and look like that. even if you do use face models for an easier base, your first step should be to IMMEDIATELY drastically alter it based on your character concept art and then manually configure its speech motions and everything else
