Scalpers buy a negligible number of boxes. There are hardly any on ebay.
I am totally convinced that this is a tactic to create artificial scarcity for a box that includes ONE NEW KIT (that is admittedly pretty cool)
It really is/ has to be. People are willing to pay £38.50 for 5 fucking 32mm scale models if they had to wait 3 months and see some people on Instagram and YouTube have loads of fun with them already.
10th edition boxes day 1 are fucked.
I'd say the reason this is happening is that they are spending all their current production in Leviathan boxes.

I don't have this problem with any GW products. When something is coming out that i want I tell the store owner at my FLGS and she gets a copy. Stores are allocated some amount of each release so I always get 1.
I always find it funny how influencers on YouTube always end up getting a copy though for free

I just picked up the Arbites Exaction squad from Soulshackle, so I'd imagine these will get a release too. Who knows for how long they'll be available though, the Arbites preorders were sold out everywhere here

Biggest issue for me is that they want way too fucking much for the terrain by itself. They're charging $150 for Killzone Gallowdark when Into the Dark is $120 on Amazon now. And then $50 for each set of new terrain from Soulshackle etc.
The cultist side is already its own box and the inquisition side is definitely going to get one like all the other teams did

GW internally compares itself to some dildo shop IIRC in terms of being successful.
I buy as many Kill Team sets as I can from the UK. I buy them for $130 a piece. Put them on a boat to Miami. There I can easily get 100 a day renting them out. I do this 300 times a month. You do the math.
