MH used to have no visible damage numbers during hunts and IMO was better off for it. I make sure to turn them off in every game since they added it.

Bouncing, vfx and discussions with fellow players already do that.
For me the biggest tell was the blood effect and how big the uh...X thing was. I understand why they did it since World doesn't have blood
