i watched the entire thing
this is the most drowned out overexplaned shit i've ever seen in my life. he explains the same thing 20 times in different ways, then reexplains things he had explained 10 minutes ago. he makes diagrams and categorizations for things that really did not need diagrams and categorizations. the subject here is not nearly as complicated as the parallel universe stuff, the video could have been 15 minutes long even with all the examples.
this is autism at its purest form.
I think he does it because it's his "brand" now so it's expected. The Rolling Rocks vid is still a classic, however I did like that he highlighted every example of an invis wall in the game.
No this is how academia works in general. I think he is working on his dissertation now which is why he's been making a bunch of videos. Don't not confident about speaking about his research, from what I've picked up on other posts. Its a common thing with autis, think about it your standing in front of 5 pros going on about your research having to defend it and clearly, its very stressful. It use to be way way worse in the pass getting your PhD really meant something back in the day.
his autistic reasoning is that he must cover every invisible wall in the game in complete detail so no one can claim he missed something
I understand why it is that way, but yeah repeating the exact same step by step explanation like 50 times for every instance is moronic and shouldnt be in video form
The video has a bunch of chapters, if you're on a rush you just watch his explanation of the phenomenon then skip straight to the end where he shows every invisible wall in every stage
What on earth? It's just invisible walls. They're in every game ever, been standard for as long as 3D spaces have been in. Or do tendies think Mario64 invented those and it's some kind of esoteric technology that warrants a 4-hour-long explanation?
If you weren't a massive gay and tried to get a hang of the subject discussed before typing shit you'd know that this is about misaligned polygons occasionally causing "random" and inconsistent walls in places where a wall was not intended.
>That one dude in the clip that just dies instantly for no reason because he was standing right over where the ice blocks shift the out of bounds invis wall constantly
my sides
>that part where he starts reciting a poem about the moving elevator
i watched the entire thing

someone please make a cut-down version or provide timestamps to the good shit

It gets excessive in the examples, especially later on, but the core explanation in first 30 minutes or so is fine.

b***h this was 4 days ago don't lie to me again

dumb frick
Tsk Tsk. SOMEONE didn't understand the subject, maybe you need to watch this video bud
>moron who doesn't understand the topic comes in and displays his ignorance for everyone to see
Another day on Ganker
I note that none of you answered my question.
Because your question is answered in the first few minutes and everything else is just going into detail
If you weren't a massive gay and tried to get a hang of the subject discussed before typing shit you'd know that this is about misaligned polygons occasionally causing "random" and inconsistent walls in places where a wall was not intended.
go educate yourself before you embarrass yourself further
>t. didn’t watch the video
it’s an a press is an a press all over again
There's a lot of repeated shit here but it validates me in feeling that Tick-Tock Clock is the most evil stage in any Mario game
STOP SHILLING THIS FRICKING VIDEO MADE BY AN UNFUNNY MEMELORD
go back to twitter tj """""""""henry"""""""" yoshi
What if Mario BETRAYED and TRAPPED by ceiling hitbox? [3:45:00]
It was offtopic then and its off topic now. Youtube men are not videogames.
Frick off you piece of shit.
I lost my shit at the guy randomly dying in snowman’s land ngl

God I wish I could have seen it live
The thing that would spook me the most if this happened to me is that the hat disappears too for no reason
Very informative and lots of examples. Love this kind of shit.
