Whilst a sleeper shark Pokemon would be based as frick, I doubt it'd be a reality because Gamefreak would want to steer clear of any moral dilemnas to their pixelated creatures.
Just look at how everyone and their grandma reacted to the Galar fossils, not to mention anytime someone brings up a Ghost-type once being a human.
