Modern movies are such trash holy shit
This shit true?!
Since mid 00s, they greenlighting a movie about fricking Barbie was the biggest redflag
Black person they made a battleship movie. They gave it more than a $200 million budget.
>battleship movie
that sounds so fricking sad
Here is Tiny Tina.
TT'sW is the best borderlands game and will be the best borderlands movie
>Jack Black
>Black
Ew
have a nice day, you dumb fricking sack of shit
This looks like one of those japanese B movie versions of borderlands.
It's some weird bizzaro world bullshit when jack black is probably the least bad part about a film.
why is tina a sandBlack person?
>sandBlack person
Half Puerto Rican half israeli actually
half [nationality] half [religion]
>religion
Bro you can't be this dumb
ok, /misc/tard
Anon it's both an ethnicity and a religion
This is very basic knowledge
>Thankfully, Pitchford was open to pretty much everything. Roth recalled how Pitchford was even receptive to the idea of keeping Claptrap alive and entertained the Cabin Fever director’s various suggestions for how the robot might be able to expel bullets: “Is it like a tail goes up and… are they little rabbit pellets?”
>Eli Roth
wait what the frick? at the very least this means there will be zero skipping out on blood and gore. i completely forgot he directed cabin fever, hostel, and fricking green inferno
>i completely forgot he directed cabin fever, hostel, and fricking green inferno
I only know him because of these movies
Wow, another Suicide Squad
Can't wait for the robot to sing LIKE THIIIS so you know he's FUNNAAAAY
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm no, no i will not be watching this
Why the frick is 54 year old Cate Blanchett playing Lilith?
They all look way too old to be in borderlands
>Jamie Lee Curtis
Imagine.
Brutal. Couldn't pay me to see this dogshit. It's somehow even more embarrassing that it has actors I know in it.
Also I didn't even realize they made an uncharted movie.
So is Krieg gonna be the main hero?
He's front and center
>Cate Blanchett
Such an odd choice. She's so fricking old now.
Wait so this is set before Roland dies or it's own "timeline"?
Cause why the frick is Lilith 50 years old in this movie yet Roland is alive
You think they have the pull to get Dameon Clarke to play as Handsome Jack in this shit?
Looks like a promo poster for a shitty porno
Shocked it's not called
>BONERLANDS
why lilith is so old wtf
they fricked up all the casting
Krieg and Tiny Tina look good. Roland is whatever, I don't give a shit. Cate Blanchett is fricking awful, she is way too old.
Tannis is the real crime though... Tannis was cute as frick. Now I can only hear Arnold saying;
>Damn Jamie Lee Curtis, you look fine all androgynous and shit with your leathery skin
Sheeeeit when did she start looking like that? BL2? Then again, that game was full of qts
they dragged jamie lee curtis into another shit movie huh
This is downright fricking offensive and this is coming from someone that didn't start to hate the writing until BL3.
When was the last time a live action video game movie worked? Have they learnt nothing from mario and mortal kombat?
>When was the last time a live action video game movie worked?
Resident Evil. The first one... so a long time. Funnily enough from the guy who made the only Mortal Kombat movie of all things. He deserved a fricking oscar for pulling a MK movie of all things
Anon...
>As of January 14, 2024, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has grossed $574.9 million in the United States and Canada, and $788.4 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $1.36 billion.[4][5] It became the highest-grossing film based on a video game after just one week of release.[106] It also became the first film based on a video game as such to gross $1 billion worldwide.[107] In May 2023, it overtook Minions to become the highest-grossing film released by Illumination.[108]
>Live action
You're kind of an idiot, huh? You know there's more than 1 Mario movie right zoom zoom?
If by "worked" you mean "wasn't shit", then never.
If by "worked" you mean "made money", it's impossible to tell since all box office numbers are bullshit money laundering nowadays.
I miss the old Borderlands before it became reddit. 2 was pretty much reddit, but at least it was semi-fun to play and still is. Beyond that, the franchise is fricking absolute cringe.
>Jack Black as Claptrap
I will now not watch your movie
Why does Kevin Hart look like he is holding a toy gun. Why does it look like comicon cosplay?
>Why does Kevin Hart look like he is holding a toy gun.
Because it's 1:1 pic
looks like slop
I'm glad they're making this instead of patching out the talk to Lilith objectives in 3.
>we want grannyfricker audience
Every time I'm feeling down I just remind myself that at least I'm not Randy Pitchford.
I not gonna watch this shit but I'm glad my boy Krieg got some spotlight
I once played like few hours of the first Borderlands, it was fricking godawful so I stopped.
How has this dogshit game spawned even a bigger pile of dogshit game series is beyond me.
This is like all gacha shit. Random guns with 0.1% chance to get something good.
Mostly because BL1 didn't really have much character of its own until the DLCs. After those and BL2, it kind-of "came to life" so to speak.
Whether you think it was beautiful or a shambling aborted stinky pile of ambulatory shit is mileage varies, but yeah, the first few hours of BL1 don't exactly leave much of an impression other than the sniper reticles being worse in it than any other game with sniping
