it's actually because they sold a $100 deluxe edition that promised a season pass of dlc so they have to update it up until that point or face backlash from the 20 people who bought the game and didn't refund it.

both wrong, theres literally nothing else to do for over half of arkane studio. the lower devs are working on patches while the leads are in preproduction for whatever is next. this is what every studio has done for the past decade, it is preplanned support that wouldve happened if the game succeeded or not
