I haven't played NMS in like 4 years but even back then, the game was very enjoyable in that state, I'm happy to see it keeps improving, very tempted to play it again
Looking at the steam post, most importantly they finally added ship customization
Otherwise they also added a guild system or some kind, not sure if that's in relation to npcs or other players, and overhauled the space stations to include more facilities and be more tailored to local races and shit
Dropped out after a few visits to the new stations, we have a single new layout that hardly changes. Just a few easy to miss things like crates and benches. Otherwise, it's just random colors on the inside. I could hardly care about how it looks on the outside.
how does online play work when you use mods? last time i was playing i had like 10 mods installed to make the game better (like no stuttering when leaving the atmosphere) and ive never played online because of it.
>Just wait years for the game you bought to be worth the price you paid
And even then it's not. Letting off this disaster because of muh engoodening sends the wrong message to devs. It tells them it's okay to release utter dogshit because years later they might fix it into a mediocre game.
You know that huge ass pirate dreadnought you sent to ask for change 3 systems away? Yeah it's now under attack and you have to rescue it from 3 shitty pirates with C tier default non-upgraded ships that blow up in one hit.
All these years and still no depth to the game nor anything other than shitty sentinels to fight. They could at least add some kind of dungeon where you can perma shut down all sentinels in a system
I bought the game at launch, reached endgame content, then I tried the freighter stuff when that dropped. What sort of things have they added since freighter stuff?
really nothing worthwhile
settlements, pet system, breeding system, big worms, and lots and lots of overhauls of stuff that was in the game
the problem with the updates is that it's all filler. it's just "content." the core gameplay loop still winds up being "go to planet, scan stuff, maybe build a base, collect some resources, go to next" but it leads to nothing. there's no real point to be doing that other than the novelty of it because there's not much worthwhile to do with the stuff you get or find
game needs some post-game progression stuff other than menial upgrades or cosmetics. THEN I might be interested again
They need to just put it up to a community vote if we want total base reset in favor of new world gens. They even revamped the space station but the world gens and biodiversity have hardly changed, water still sucks. Generic weather. All this game is missing is the variety that infinite proc gen is capable of providing. I want to see glitched planets with freakish animals or an all white heaven like flat planet.
Everything is set up for a planet overhaul, you can even customize your own ship with parts from scratch now.
too cartoonish for me. i really wanted the realistic nasapunk aesthetic of starfield. todd may have whispered sweet lies into my ears, but the best lies were the ones i told myself. played for almost 300 hours, before i could admit to myself that todd had got me again.
not a high bar
This, a game where I spend my entire playtime searching for more powerful diapers to better contain my growing shitslurry would mog starfield.
I fricking apologize.
Sweet. I was thinking about uninstalling Slopfield.
tic tac toe mogs starfield
>MOGS STARFIELD

No Man's Sky, my beloved
bruh WOWOWOW KORONE BOX mogs starfield and i dunno wtf that even is
>NEW UPDATE BROS. MOGS STARFIELD
that's not even raising the bar, it's just leaving it on the ground.
>shit mogs piss
okay

I tried this a few months ago and it's still just as shit as it was on release, pretty dissapointing. I'm mad I got baited with "NMS is fixed"
Ánd whats in the new version?

What are you smoking? No update
>update was 3 weeks ago
Yawn. Already beat all that shit and uninstalled for the 8th time. Let me know when the game has some content
qrd on update?

Does like a half year old save work on this or am I supposed to start a new run for this update?
Never had a problem with seeing the new stuff on my first save. Shouldn't be a problem.
Please add boarding combat
THAT'S ALL I NEED LEFT IS THE ABILITY TO BOARD SHIPS TO BEAT THEM FROM WITHIN

Starfield is peak vidya gaming. NOTHING mogs Starkino. NOTHING. Nice try, though.
Honestly even baseline nu males sky was better than SF. It wasn't developed by a horde of pajeets.
