Can you show me where Granbull and Hatterene are on these teams? Most are Fairy monotype.
Wigglytuff has a unique typing, and a large moveset that takes advantage of Sheer Force well and has plenty of surprising utility. So you're not sweeping through entire teams, guess what, very few mons in the game can do that to begin with. On top of that it serves as a great check and counter to several threats across the game and is a fantastic lead for endgame bosses. Seems perfectly usable to me, but idk, I've only posted it beating the E4 and several massive chokepoints

Depends, Fairy hits some different types than Nidoking's move palette does. May have worse damage output and speed, making it inferior in a vacuum but ultimately it works against other things solely because of Fairy STAB.

Okay, well accepting Nidoking is just a direct upgrade from Wigglytuff no questions asked, you might as well ask why you use anything in Pokemon that's outclassed in some way by something else. You do it because you like the mon. The point of Wigglytuff's buffs were to make it more viable, and that's what has been accomplished, you can, in fact, use Wigglytuff for basically anything, even the souped up monster teams RR throws at you, and it will do good work.

A sweeper by definition is a Pokemon that's set up to, you know, sweep away what's left of an enemy team by being offensive and fast. Wigglytuff is a hard hitting support mon, not a sweeper.
