He didn't discover 2P outfits, he discovered Toobie is also great in delicious brown. Unlike 2D full palette swaps, skin color changes are rare in 3D fighter alts where they have separate body and clothing models.

They already said the old Game of the YoRHa costumes and modes were going to be in. They showed 9S in young Nier's outfit, as you said they probably didn't want to show 2B's Kainé outfit on stream but it's no doubt in there.
It's problem on PC was a very PC specific problem. GPU -> CPU RAM sharing sucks on PC so lots of effects they were doing that the PS4 didn't give a shit about were tanking on PC. The switch doesn't have this flaw but it does have shit RAM bandwidth so it could go either way.

I think it's more likely we see a new Nier and ports of Drakengard but you never know. Hell we could end up with something like Nier: Draconia.

Ports have been a very common and constant thing since the PS3/360/Wii gen.
But the performance seemed fine? SE are throwing a lot behind this re-release going by what they've plugged so far (exclusive art, pre-order bonuses, reversible cover art for physical edition) and must be very proud of it.

Nier plays janky but I was probably the most invested in it initially. It's story is good in a tragic kind of way but the whole thing comes off as a test of concept for Automata. The series is referenced mainly in some weapons and visual things, but otherwise all you need to know is that in one of the Drakenguard endings humanity is hit by a disease because of otherworldly magic. Nier: Automata is completely understandable if you haven't played any previous instalment since it touches on the outcome of Nier and is set thousands of years later. You'll miss basically nothing story or gameplay wise.

Not me. Already played it twice on PS4. The only reason I can think of is playing it on the go, but I always dock my Switch because handheld mode games look like shit to me. Couldn't even play Dread on handheld.

It's 1600x900 at surprisingly close to 60fps on Xbone, seems like it might actually have better frame rate than PS4. But every version has drops except -maybe- BC mode on the new consoles.
not that anon, but the issue is not if it's a triple A or not(i know it's not), rather the performance and optimization, which in this game are atrocious on every level
the platinum engine was made to handle corridors and small areas(bayonetta, MGR, astral chain, transformers devastation), yet in automata they made much larger areas which it struggles to handle properly and hangs when loading new areas
even when using the most recent CPU/GPU combo, the game still stutters at times cause it doesn't matter how powerful the PC is if the game engine itself can't keep up with its own content
in such environment, there's no way the switch will be able to render it at 1080p 30fps, either it'll be dynamic resolution which will mostly stay at 900p, or it'll have severe fps drops
It's definitely good, not the greatest game of all time to me but some people swear it is. Solid 8/10

You only replay the first half twice, everything after that is new content leading up to the real endings. There's one ending for every letter of the alphabet, but most of them are short joke endings.

That's not even true, you play as a different character, cutscenes and dialogue are different, and you play different parts everytime the characters are split up.
They only split up twice before you get to the next act. And those are mainly right towards the end of the route. It's about 75% the same content and hopefully you did all the sidequests already so you can rush or just ignore those in general for time.

This most likely means there'll be a new side quest tied to this new date, and who knows, maybe these costumes will be the reward for completing this new quest.

It's not natively in the game, it's a DLC. So basically all they have to do is add this DLC to the other stores as well after a couple months as a thank you for the game selling 6.5 million copies.

It's 1600x900 at surprisingly close to 60fps on Xbone, seems like it might actually have better frame rate than PS4. But every version has drops except -maybe- BC mode on the new consoles.

not that anon, but the issue is not if it's a triple A or not(i know it's not), rather the performance and optimization, which in this game are atrocious on every level
the platinum engine was made to handle corridors and small areas(bayonetta, MGR, astral chain, transformers devastation), yet in automata they made much larger areas which it struggles to handle properly and hangs when loading new areas
even when using the most recent CPU/GPU combo, the game still stutters at times cause it doesn't matter how powerful the PC is if the game engine itself can't keep up with its own content
in such environment, there's no way the switch will be able to render it at 1080p 30fps, either it'll be dynamic resolution which will mostly stay at 900p, or it'll have severe fps drops

It's definitely good, not the greatest game of all time to me but some people swear it is. Solid 8/10
Its sum is unnironically better than it's parts and if you aren't into the whole package it easily falls appart on many ends.
That said, if it clicks with you, it's a great game you will remember for a long time.
It feels like you're playing a PS2 game again, so for that alone it's an 8/10 game that feels like a 10/10 game because it reminds you of a time when games were actually fun and tried more interesting things with their stories.

Like most of Yoko Taro's games, it's all about getting to the last ending. It really hits you.

You only replay the first half twice, everything after that is new content leading up to the real endings. There's one ending for every letter of the alphabet, but most of them are short joke endings.

That's not even true, you play as a different character, cutscenes and dialogue are different, and you play different parts everytime the characters are split up.
They only split up twice before you get to the next act. And those are mainly right towards the end of the route. It's about 75% the same content and hopefully you did all the sidequests already so you can rush or just ignore those in general for time.
26 but only 5 are real endings. You don't have to do anything complicated to get them, just play the game.

The Game of the YoRHa DLC had a new ending with it. The fact that the Switch version has a new subtitle is a good indicator there'll be something more than just extra costumes.
