That's your name you senile old moron.
Niko Bellic is one of the few protags that I care about.
He is violent yet friendly to his close one.
Can be greedy but always is kind and charitable.
A life full of despair but a man full of hope despite what he faces.
I love Niko so much bros...
he's not even particularly violent in the games to anyone that's not actively trying to kill him, also he's actually really nice and accepting of the randoms you encounter
he's a cool dude
Can't believe he helped Marnie only for her to turn out the way she did in V.
Honestly, she turned better than whatever future she had in Liberty City.
I blame the writers on this since the mail she sent you post game is hery hopefull.
The only characters coming back from 4 that I consider canon in 5 are Packie and Rocko Pelosi (the latter because he was a total douche and deserved to get killed).
I always pick Packie on my heist team.
His battle cries and taunts are wild, hard to think that the same guys who say this shit can find the words to help a teenage drug addict.
He is like Travis Bickle without the social akwardness.
He's the most psycho character during combat he screams about cutting off their heads and shit
That's just the heat of the moment
telling him what his heart meant
I do also scream that I’m about to slit throats whenever I start shooting people in NY. Niko’s character is a clear example of a man too broken by constant warfare to actually settle for a normal life.
You gotta pay attention that while Niko keeps talking about how he just wants a normal life in Liberty City, he just easily accepts any offer to be a criminal, killing without any remorse; Niko finally meeting the former pal that betrayed hits the point home, Niko is just like him, killing other people’s friends for money.
>"how much do you charge?"
It's because Rockstar actually did homework on eastern europeans. Will gladly welcome you into their home and share their food with strangers, but the fricking minute they are slighted, they will begin a genocide on who you are.
t. wog and am friends with slavs
Black person that's every single Rockstar protagonist.
Claude too?
maybe, there isn't really anything that would prove he isn't
Claude is such a creepy motherfricker, even his face model is unsettling and makes him look soulless.
Did he kill Maria at the end?
No, Tommy Verceti was actually pretty evil, he was a mafia thug through and through.
Yeah Tommy is the only GTA protag with agency. He is in charge and has his own goals from the beginning. CJ, Niko etc are basically errand boys who always go "nooo I don't want to do that" and still do everything they're told.
>CJ, Niko etc are basically errand boys who always go "nooo I don't want to do that" and still do everything they're told.
CJ's gladly does everything because he is out of options, its only when he is out of the governement's hand he starts to move pieces.
Niko just wants to survive and help the little family he has in Liberty City. The only people he obeys and b***h about are people who need him and got him either by the balls or got info on the one who betrayed his squad in the Yugo war.
CJ literally kneeled to his big brother’s b***hing after working his ass off to get him out of prison; CJ should have told Sweet to go frick himself but CJ is a doormat that feels guilty for Sweet’s own failures so he just goes back to regroup the Groove Street Families.
Honestly, its kinda understandable. Toxic family members who guilts trip you into their problems is in character for both CJ and Sweet.
>"Ayo CJ you a b***h you fled to LC cuz yo ass wanted a better life"
>"You let momma died"
>"Getting ouf of the hood? You talk like Smoke"
CJ has a lot of insecurities towards his family, a very naive person with a good heart.
I almost feel bad for Ken Rosenberg in San Andreas because Tommy abandoned him after Vice City, he was the only one who stayed loyal to Tommy throughout the game.
Tommy is evil but Ken became an addict, he became a liability for his empire. It’s not like Tommy dumped him without reason.
>Claude
Silent merc. Actually funny since everyone joked on that.
>Tommy
A psycho mobster, Tony Montana portrayed by Ray Liotta. A charismatic hot mess, buisness oriented gentleman. His only friend is coked up israelite lawyer who is more afraid of him more than anything.
>Carl
Naive and easily manipulated gang banger, his heart is in a good place but he has bad frequentations.
>Niko
Ex-child soldier who seeks to leave his past behind but is still spiraled in a life of crime. He is kind and nice to his family and friend, only two of his friends are criminals the rest are normal people who makes Niko's life less stressful.
>Micheal
Ex criminal Boomer and Daddy's girl, bored and in debts, learns that robbery and heist were just his way to express his anger and at heart he only wished to be movie director.
>Trevor
A dumb psycho, buisness oriented but only criminaly.
>Franklin
A young gang banger who wants to be criminal mastermind, otherwise he is a c**t to everyone. Ironically he is right, but he still is a b***h following orders.
Only Niko stands out as normal person to me. Others are either funny, moronic or straight up from a bad action movie.
>Scarface
>bad action movie
Tommy is incredibly funny, the bad action movie protag are Micheal, Trevor and Franklin.
He is brutal, thats just PTSD kicking in. Trevor rapes men and flush human parts in the toilet for shit and giggles.
>Only Niko stands out as normal person to me
Niko is literally the only GTA protagonist that has killed in the most heinous ways without the player ever controlling him to do that; you gotta follow all of his dialogues about his past, not even Trevor comes close.
Niko was one of the best GTA protagonists they ever did, character-wise. Though motivation-wise I think he just sort of gets bossed around the whole game, I never got the impression that he was doing anything because he wanted to, and that's definitely a black mark on him. Still, perhaps that's because he didn't want the life of crime, which one certainly cannot blame him for
>didn't want the life of crime
He literally jumps on the first opportunity to start a criminal career in LC
>he's bossed around
no, he's just a freelance-type, says so himself. He's not really involved with any of the groups, just takes contracts from them and carries them out most of the time, but still he's his own man
Yeah and that just means that none of the activities he's doing are actually in service of some great end he wants to accomplish, he's just sort of doing other people's dirty work
This is why I found the GTA 5 story to be a lot easier to stomach and complete than 4, because all the characters tend to be quite self motivated and even when you are ostensibly doing other people's work for them it's made quite clear the characters are only doing it because they feel like they have to and not because it's just their job. "Just doing your job" is boring as shit motivation wise
Yeah, it was extremely lazy. Literally the entire plot is driven forward by cousin Roman's gambling addiction, to the point where any reasonable person would just want to shoot Roman in the head halfway through.
>Spend half your life tracking down the piece of shit who betrayed you
>Turns out he is a flaming homosexual and had nothing to do with it
Finally a good GTA thread
30 plus 15 isn't 90
Why are zoomers and aoomers this bad at math
He wouldn't be a 90 year old lol
I don't even think 90 year olds look like that. That looks lik 130 yrs old
I started replaying GTA 4 the other day and it still holds up incredibly well, the gun combat is so much more fun than in 5.
Also Ray Bocino did nothing wrong and I wish he didn’t get killed off.
niko if he italian plumber
What did they remove from the Steam release?
too lazy to remove the GFWL integration
They removed GTA IV MP and many songs, unified the radios across the game and its expansions and added some new songs to replace the old ones
his son jason belic is in the new gta
I hope Packie shows up.
I like the idea of Packie becoming a recurring character moving from city to city between major scores and being addicted to the chase.
>most youthful Serb
