1/ Ace Combat devs making Starfox.
2/Sega making a new F-Zero.
3/Frick knows tbh.
They've worked with Sega tho

The duality of man
Littlebigplanet and Dreams on the Switch!
Shut up, you know you want it.
The switch will burn to a crisp on dreams
everytime someone calls Team Ninja they waste their work for some shitty game
we could have had a proper FF1 remake where you play as Chad WoL but instead we got the parody of a game that is strangers of paradise
from software, zelda spinoff game.
Kinda want to see it.
From Software Fire Emblem
Entirely unnecessary as Both BotW and TotK outsold Elden Ring.
FromSoftware's 3d Metroid
Holy fricking kino
its likely only going to be JP studios because nintendo is racist as hell, so that narrows it down a lot.
the entire basis of nintendo's success has been their willingness to work with western developers.
They've worked with plenty of western devs. I didn't see you guys complaining about mercurysteam on the last two metroids, FEX.
The fear factor comes in when you think about them getting ninja theory to do the next prime entry.
ArcSystem Works brings you ARMS 2!
I'm hoping Nintendo gets some ultra autistic studio to work on a modern Wave Race. Codemasters could be a good fit, a shame they were bought by EA.
Go ahead and post a source for this.

RGG studio would make a dope Like a Koopa game.
>with three companies they’ve never worked with before
good on them. it's pretty obvious companies they have worked with previously (like the pokemon company) get complacent and stop trying to make good games
I think most likely they're looking for people to do remakes. A lot of N64/GC games really deserve a remake to get them into HD, but they don't want to take people off new games to do that. Here are some of the main games that really deserve a remake
>N64
OoT
MM
Pokemon Snap
Mario 64
Diddy Kong Racing (they'd have to change characters but who gives a shit?)
Paper Mario 64
Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 (maybe combine them)
>GC
Animal Crossing
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Party (like superstars)
Sunshine
Twilight Princess
F-Zero GX
Kirby Air Ride (but they could just make a sequel)
I think remakes may end up replacing Wii U ports as filler titles on the next console. Relatively cheap and pad out the schedule.
>OoT, MM
Already remade on 3DS. If anything, these will be ported or given the Metroid Prime HD treatment.
>Pokemon Snap
Not needed since New Pokemon Snap replaces it
>Super Mario 64
Probably not since it came with 3D All Stars
>Diddy Kong Racing
Only a possibility if they team with Microsoft/Rare for it
>Paper Mario 64
The fact they're doing TTYD and not 64 tells me they will never touch 64
>Pokemon Stadium1 and 2
wouldn't happen, they would just come up with a new Pokemon Stadium/Colosseum that uses the new pokemon
Non of the N64 remakes would be plausible anyways since Nintendo wants to sell the premium online service with N64 online.
>Animal Crossing remake
No need when they can just make a sequel with more features
>Luigi's Mansion
remake came out on 3DS
>Mario Party
they'd just do a Superstars 2 or release a map pack/minigame DLC
>Sunshine
Maybe, probably the most plausible remake but also doubt since it was part of 3D All Stars
>Twilight Princess
Would just be the Wii U HD version ported over
>F-Zero GX
I could see Nintendo teaming with Sega for a sequel but not a remake
>Kirby Air Ride
Also not sure on this. It could be plausible but Nintendo has barely acknowledged Air Ride since it came out.
You need to realize that a shitty 3DS remake from 12 years ago does not prevent them from making a proper HD remake now.

Boring shit we already expect like.Astral Chain 2 and Warriors titles
This is talking about companies they haven't worked with before so it isn't about Astral Chain or Warriors. It could be anything. Maybe they'll pay someone to make them a Soulslike game or an online realistic shooting game, for example.
No where in the quote does it actually say it's about companies that Nintendo hasn't worked with before.
It does, you're just not reading it right. It says they have third party partners already but they're looking to add to that roster and that the writer knows of 3 specifically implying there are probably more. There's really no downside for Nintendo to get more companies making their games. They still get most of the money and with their lower game dev costs it will obviously turn a profit.
Never mind, it does say "new partners". I'm moronic. I thought it meant more regular partners
Monolith's action RPG is pretty much a soulslike from what we've seen of the concept art.
FromSoft remaking OoT in their style
>Nintendo reportedly looking to collaborate on their IPs with three companies they’ve never worked with before
Bros...
Mobile most definitely.
I require another Capcom 2D Zelda.
This is talking about new partners so probably not Capcom.
Nintendo had 5 major releases this year, and out of that 2 were made by third parties they haven't really worked with (Mario RPG and Pikmin 4). I think we could end up being surprised what they'll be willing to toss off to random companies on the switch 2.
>I think we could end up being surprised what they'll be willing to toss off to random companies on the switch 2.
They need it, they're still in the process of expanding so they have no time to develop more stuff from their side. This is their way to compensate for the launch title releases I'd reckon.
How much was Eighting actually involved with Pikmin 4's development? All I can see is them in the "Very Special Thanks" in Pikmin 4's credits.
Probably fairly involved. Remember that Nintendo also gives "special thanks" to Mario Club, without whom, their games would be full of bugs, and Monolithsoft, when they provide art and even design the fricking levels for a game like Zelda
I went to the Pikmin 3 deluxe credits for eighting and used ctrl F to compare and yeah, eighting seems to have been the main developer. Many of the lead positions are by eighting members.
Just for planning stuff, I don't think a lot of it is the actual design stuff
Some examples:
>Kenichi Yokoh
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design Lead
Pikmin 4 - Special Thanks
>Toyoshige Kadohara
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design Lead
Pikmin 4 - Cutscene Planning Management and Planning Management Lead
>Hidehito Okamoto
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design
Pikmin 4 - Special Thanks
>Satoru Yokota
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design
Pikmin 4 - UI Planning
>Kenichi Iwano
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design
Pikmin 4 - Cutscene Planning
>Takuma Kurita
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design
Pikmin 4 - Cutscene Planning
>Tatsunori Kitahara
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design
Pikmin 4 - Creature Planning Lead
>Tetsuya Maki
Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Game Design
Pikmin 4 - Planning
You are massively mistaken here. The mistake you made is you just checked the lead members from Pikmin 3 when a lot of non-lead members from pikmin 3 deluxe are lead members on pikmin 4. I just went through it all myself and listed all the lead members below that worked for eighting.
Character modeling, Motion, UI programming, Game system programming, Graphics programming, Object progrgamming, Tools programming, Sound programming, UI design, Art management, VFX Design, Creature planning and planning management leads are all eighting.
Considering how massively eighting dominated the leadership, I'm willing to bet they did at least 90% of the work here.
And how many of those roles are also done by Nintendo's people?
Most of the lead roles only had one person, and eighting had a couple doubles so I'm gonna guess not many. I'm not sure why you're being so stubborn here, Eighting made the game. I'm not saying Nintendo did nothing, but their role was mostly supervising like they do with stuff like Fire Emblem and Kirby.

These people seem to be more like directors and designers than just simple supervisors to me.
In fact, I'd say that Eighting is to Pikmin 4 what Nintendo is to Fire Emblem and Kirby; supplementary and with no actual direction of their own.
new experimental pikmin
new pokemon colosseum
metroid prime hunters 2
pls nintendo, i will buy a switch 2 day 1
I think more so than making games in existing series, Nintendo should use third parties to make new IPs. There's some genres they don't really have an IP involved in right now. There's no reason why they couldn't pay those asiatics who made the Pinocchio game to make them something for example.

Nintendo has had a very, very good track record with western third parties making their games. They don't allow any of the bullshit that's ruining the western industry.
>asiatic slave race
>allow
lmao you can walk all over them
Nintendo canceled a Zelda show on Netflix purely because it leaked. They don't let third parties push them around.
>They don't allow any of the bullshit
They whooped Next Level Games into shape after they were making garbage shovelware after shovelware.
Retro Games couldn't even get a single game out in their early days before Nintendo bought them
This anon gets it when it comes to Nintendo dealing with actual corruption and incompetence and not Republican pushed culture war bullshit like
cries about.
It also applies to Japanese companies too like when Nintendo acquired Monolith Soft, the first thing Nintendo did was send them an accountant to make sure they weren't going over budget or be late with their projects. And look at where they are today.
NanaOn-Sha's Paper Mario: Wrapper Star
If Nintendo is specifically talking to indie studios to partner their IP with, my guesses are
>Yacht Club Games
>Sabotage Studios
>Team Cherry
>Supergiant Games
>Motion Twin
>publish indie titles
Doesn't that not make them indie?
Maybe op meant that Nintendo is just looking for more indies to be published on Nintendo Switch not actually publishing.
Nintendo vs Capcom
Frick From Software
These are companies they don't already have a close relationship with. So they're not talking about bamco, sega, square, platinum or capcom. It has to be someone else.
Where did the talent of Sony's Japan Studio go after they closed? Maybe Nintendo can work with them on a new IP if they're around somewhere. That and Hideki Kamiya's new company.
Wasn't Nintendo poached some of the Japan Studio people? The stuff in TotK reminded me of Gravity Rush too much.
Well the Team Siren guys are making Slitterhead, so they're probably too busy with that.
Ace Combat and Star Fox.
I don't care about anything else, just give me Ace Combat with Star Fox ships.
I wanna see a Silent Hill -style horror game with Waluigi as the antagonist
Furukawa is so much better at business than Iwata was. He figured out that third parties cant be relied on for games so he's just going around paying a bunch of different companies to make games for them. We could see Nintendo edge up to 15-16 games published a year at which point third party support becomes so irrelevant.
Iwata
>every single franchise gets casualized into the ground
>old ROMs for 5 dollars each
>gimmick bs
>amiibo bs
>tons of games not getting localized
Furukawa
>greenlights all the remakes people been asking for like Prime, TTYD, SMRPG, Advance Wars
>sells Nintendo's retro library for 20 bucks a year NSO instead of israeliteing out and charging 5 dollars per ROM
>amiibo is just a side business now and the quality on them got way better
Yeah Im thinking I should have never doubted Furuchadwa-sama
>tons of games not getting localized
That's Reggie's issue, not Iwata's.
Get the developers behind Omega Labyrinth to make a game.
i hope they frick off and stop wasting talented studios time on gimped censored slop that doesnt sell on nintendo consoles anyway
