WTF is this $hit????????
I can't believe it. I've played Dark Souls and Elden Ring before and I'm familiar with souls games but this one is absolute trash!! I cannot beat the first boss (Onryoki) no matter how much I grind to level up myself. The weird thing is that you cannot upgrade weapons (at least before the first boss) so you cannot play with your favorite weapon if they are not powerful enough, so you have to switch to a strong one to have more chance!
The other thing that is annoying is that you cannot play with a mouse and keyboard, I mean you can but with controller layout all over the game which is confusing. One of the reasons I play games on PC is to play with a mouse and keyboard.

Imagine getting Filtered so early on in the Game
Onryoki gives EVERY new player a hard time.
An Invitation From the Warrior of the West is also notoriously hard for being one of the first like five missions in the game.
mad cuz badH
Souls games have never been difficult. Welcome to the real world kiddo.
>I cannot beat the first boss
Holy shit
it's a bait thread you fricking idiots
It is a legit post.
copy paste it in google and see for yourself.
it doesn't have to be a copy/paste to be bait
>it's only bait if it's copypasta
>baiting people by claiming that OP's post is not bait
Clever, almost got me.
Use odachi in high stance. This game is piss easy. The real bullshit starts when you have to do double boss fights in the depths.
The boss is overtuned
But he's far from unbeatable, you just don't know how powerful you are yet. The amount of mobility you get from being in low stance makes many bosses a joke.
Get Power Pill from the Ninjutsu tree and get Fire Talisman from the Onmyouji tree, those are two huge power boosts you can get for free at that point
Also don't fall into the Dark Souls trap of thinking you have to abuse i-frames, this game actually allows you to dodge moves physically by using your dodge to reposition, rather than just abusing it as an invincibility button.
water, he wants water. onryoki resists fire.
You sure? You can get him to burn but it does take good timing. I figured it's just because elemental effects are pretty weak early into the game.
Not him, he does resist fire. Elemental ailments are strong early on. But all that stuff is overkill when the key to beating Onryoki simply lies in learning to use your stances and Ki Pulse. Something those "souls" "veterans" get confused by because this game has mechanics with layers to them and is built like an action game.
>The other thing that is annoying is that you cannot play with a mouse and keyboard
Beat the game with kbm and had no problems
stale bait and lies, acquire proficiency
>calling OP bait
I've watched two Souls veterans play Nioh for the first time, you've probably forgotten how hard the game is at the start.
It's not the content, it's the tone. Souls players will struggle getting into Nioh and are often indignant about it, but OP is trying too hard.
Trying too hard about what? It is a legit post, you can google it and see for yourself.
What purpose would googling it serve? Do you think people exclusively use copypasta when they troll?
You are dumb.
Just use the weapon art and drain half of boss health they are completely broken.
I was sad when the final game nerfed Onryoki and Enma super hard because cucks like LobosJr were getting demolished. The beta tests were quite fun, shame I ended up not enjoying the Diablo-esque design the more I played.
I beat the game pretty easily just with an odachi. Didn’t use any ninjitsu or the other magic BS
Odachi is bunga mode
It allows you to play in the souls playstyle of just having 1-2 strong long range moves that slice through enemy guard. I played the first that way too and started having way more fun once I tried the other weapons in 2
It's fine. Soulsborne / Elden Ring and Nioh are mutually exclusive so it's to be expected that you won't like Nioh.
Drop the game.
I am not the one who wrote that post, just sharing it here. I like both Nioh and Souls.
