No Battle Facility

The only big thing of note in the trailer is that BP are "Blueberry Points" and are used to upgrade your club room, invite trainers, and buy throwing styles.

Battle Facility stonks plummeting, Battle Facility investors in shambles.

That School Rumble thing that Nemona and Clavell start was always the battle facility

Over round 200 in HGSS Battle Tower
I still play it a lot
Battle Tower is by far the best content in Pokemon games
      Battle Factory is incredibly fun.

The Battle Factory is one of my least favorites. Gen III it was tolerable because the hints were good enough to where you could prepare properly, but the gen IV factory is probably the worst when it comes to pure RNG deciding matches.
Because I am more concerned about getting all of my Pokemon from gen 3 to HOME before Bank shuts down, I told myself I would just come back to it later on as it doesn't require trained Pokemon to participate in.

          >Eternal Battle Reverie
nta but even as someone who loves battle facilities, that one didnt appeal to me. PLA's battle system is inherently worse than the mainline games', and there's no extrinsic reward for doing so like ribbons or anything. Just not interested.

It's low priority on my to complete list, HOME still probably has at least 6 years left before it shuts down and Bank probably only has months left.

Like, a shit ton of them. Multiple cups in Stadium 1 and 2, Battle tower in Emerald, DPPt, HGSS, BDSP, SwSh, Battle Pyramid, Battle Factory, Battle Maison in XY and ORAS, Battle Subway, PWT, everything in PBR, Battle Mountain in Colo and XD, Restricted Sparring, Battle Tree.

All of these have been multiple times, and I still frequent many of them. There's been less that I've NOT completed.

      >Online battling is now easier than ever

I don't care about Battle Facilites because they've been progressively getting worse each gen, with SwSgh being the worse but online battling is pure aids.

The DS's online shut down ages ago and peole still run alternative servers for onlinr interactions in those games. Does that not include battles? I just use it for other stuff so I honestly don't know.

There's already alternate servers for the Switch games.

Because gen V relied on Game Sync which has not been reverse engineered and gen IV only had battles in between friends (you can use PBR but I have and it is pretty much dead most of the time) you will be hard pressed to find battles, especially ones where people aren't just going to hack in mons. At least in gen IV as well you can't even use the WiFi Tower because you have people that will hack and bring actual hackmons (Sheer Cold No Guard Machamp, Wonder Guard Spiritomb, legendaries, etc).
Before you say "just find an online community for this lmao", I have tried multiple times myself to get threads going to get people to play on pkmnclassic.net's network and discord is a big no-no scary application to people on Ganker.

Pokemon is about the battles. I like battling.
I don't like battling the same trainers with the same team with no level cap forever. If we can rematch trainers in the DLC and there's a cap I'll forgive the game for no battle fac.

Because fighting npcs offers an inherently different experience than PVP. PVP is my preference, but sometimes I want to chill and battle, or frick around with different gimmick teams, or whatever. Also gives another ribbon to grind for. Ideally, they would also allow for Multi-battles, so you could do Co-Op too.

Idk why different preferences is difficult for your pea brain to comprehend.

This may be new information to you, but Pokemon attracts a lot of autistic people. One of the traits of autism is an inability to relate with other people and understand that they have different opinions and preferences.
/vp/ also attracts a lot of people who like to stir the pot by acting contrarian.

If you saw the genwar meltdown last night, it was mostly the same person doing the mindbroken autistic screeching. I don't think it was her first rodeo either.

The Battle Factory is one of my least favorites. Gen III it was tolerable because the hints were good enough to where you could prepare properly, but the gen IV factory is probably the worst when it comes to pure RNG deciding matches.

Gen 4 Factory is more balanced and limits all Pokemon sets to 4 each, so it's way harder to get broken Pokemon and roll over everything like in gen 3 Factory. Not its fault gen 3 did moronic shit like base opponent IVs off your current Tower streak or give legendaries and pseudos 8+ sets.

Did they confirm how you get BP? There's still hope for something.

They did, unfortunately. There's a dick ton of sidequests, seemingly repeatable. The new ribbon in the datamine also belongs to the new trade Pokemon. Lastly, the stadium at the top of BB is where youll fight miscellaneous trainers + Kieran. So basically all of the signs pointing towards a battle facility of some kind have alternate explanations, sadly.

This may be new information to you, but Pokemon attracts a lot of autistic people. One of the traits of autism is an inability to relate with other people and understand that they have different opinions and preferences.
/vp/ also attracts a lot of people who like to stir the pot by acting contrarian.

Yeah, pretty much. Just funny that, contrarianism or autism aside, people seem to vouch for LESS content.

    Battle Subway gen 5
    Battle Tree gen 7
    Were both my my shit
Also gen 3 had random battle things scattered about where you use pokemon you rent I always liked that because it taught me how to strategize and see if certain pokemon I normally wouldn't go for like ninjask who's bug and I would never use bug types until I saw its cool ass ability lol
