Lately I've been getting more and more PS3 multiplatforms, it's nice to have set of games from PS2 in HD or other releases tht are impossible to buy now, like Alpha Protocol
>Alpha Protocol can't be bought anymore >a single player game young enough to be reviewed on Zero Punctuation >can no longer be legally purchased digitally
this fricking industry
yeah, that sucks, and there's plenty of other games that are unavailable too, like most of the superhero games that've lost their licences or never saw steam releases. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions costs like a new release from second hand and it was never released on Steam for example.
>I bought a PS3 for Bayonetta
Congrats on being a fricking moron who bought the wrost version of the game >that I'd also get to play a metric frickton on unbelievably high quality exclusives!

>Congrats on being a fricking moron who bought the wrost version of the game
I knew what I was getting into (the framerate during the fight on top of the moving vehicles stzill makes me laugh) but the patch fixed the loading times; the game still blew me away and became one of my all-time favorites. The sequels even more so. >Such as...?
...such as the massive list that other Anon already posted? Did you not read the thread? It's pretty short so far.

got the ps3 version because it was on heavy sale almost immediately after launch at local store. i thought it played just fine. only problem thing i really remember was that opening menus was a bit slow
There’s a bunch of PS3 games that aren’t on pc. The Japanese region exclusives like Another Century’s Episode R also have a near 0% chance of ever being ported anywhere else. PS3 has tons of games, I don’t know why unfunny spergs keep repeating the meme that it doesn’t
>PS3 has tons of games, I don’t know why unfunny spergs keep repeating the meme that it doesn’t
Well, it launched in 2006, and for a good two years, it really wasn't doing too good. It was hard as frick to develop for, so its library was sparse, its early exclusives underwhelming; and most importantly, multiplatforms games in the early years of the PS3 all had universally inferior performance compared to their PC and Xbox 360 versions. Sony was also late to the party with digital distribution, the Xbox Live Arcade was considered the best environment for indie game developers to sell their games. And of course, Halo 3 was one of the biggest game releases of all-time (seriously that shit was EVERYWHERE); so Microsoft pulled way ahead of Sony in terms of multiplayer gaming, which became truly massive on consules during that time.

Of course, Sony managed to turn it around, though it wasn't entirely on them. Call of Duty stole Halo's luster as the biggest online shooter; and since it was also on PS3 that helped Sony out. Then Naughty Dog finally developed a proper debugger for the PS3, and devs could finally take advantage of The Power of Teh Cell. But also Epic Games made huge strides in getting Unreal Engine 3 getting more performance out of the PS3's Cell architecture. So multiplatform games finally managed parity on Ps3. And, of course, Sony produced its greatest slate of exclusives in their history so far. So by the turn of the decade; you could choose between the Xbox 360, a system with no exclusives released or on the horizon that weren't either Gears of War, Halo or Forza Motorsport (it helped that Microsoft fricked up majorly around that time and starting chasing after Nintendo's Wii audience by pushing Kinect over everything else, something nobody wanted or liked), that you had to pay sixty bucks a year to play online for; and the Ps3, which had almost everything xbox had, along with an insanely diverse range of exclusives, and most importantly, FREE ONLINE PLAY ON A CONSOLE, remember that?
Ironically, the PS3's most notoriously bad port, Bayonetta, was the last bad PS3 port. Everything after that was on parity with the 360.

Here's a little glimpse into the absolute bumblefrickery Microsoft was investing all its resources into during the time Sony was dominating the home console market.

multiplatforms in general weren't as bad as people made it sound like

>a single player game young enough to be reviewed on Zero Punctuation

Started slow but by the end it had all the games, actually, and even won the gen over 360 iirc.
I'm still chewing through its library, plenty of hidden gems and games that has been removed from other storefronts/dead due to GFWL integration
akshually ps3 has the greatest library in console history
Yeah who could forget such killer hits such as... um... er...
Here's my dick, nice and hard for ya'! And remember, no teeth!

Majority of that shit is on pc moron also >ps3 version of bayonetta
Fricking LOL
>Majority
Try "less than half". Most of the games there are NOT on PC!
And they generally tend to be the best games on that list by a country mile!
I bought a PS3 for Bayonetta, knnowing that I'd also get to play a metric frickton on unbelievably high quality exclusives!
One of the greatest decision I ever made in my life!
