Fire Emblem Awakening, for better or worse, saved the Fire Emblem franchise from getting permanently shelved. The 3DS got a very soulful remake of FE Gaiden because of it.
We got nice polished remakes of OoT and MM for Zelda, along with A Link Between Worlds, which is fantastic.
Samus Returns was an excellent remake of Metroid 2.
Lugi's Mansion got a decent sequel.
Bravely Default was a huge success and excellent twist on a classic RPG formula.
Animal Crossing New Leaf was a massive hit and made the series vastly more popular than it was. The switch game wouldn't have had the hype it did without New Leaf.
Smash Bros on handheld. Amazing.
And there's plenty more. Of all the systems to meme about and say there are no games, I can't fathom how someone would think that about the 3DS. Absolutely killer library.
