Y'all put way too much importance on him. I know he looks cool and has a badass theme song. But he's just a dude. He's a bandit king that was used as a tool by the real masterminds. The War of Reunification is just a sequel to the War of Heroes which itself is a sequel to the real war between Sothis and the Agarthans. Why the frick would Nemesis matter? The logistics of how he woke back up in the first place still doesn't make sense. The only reason they kept his body was to farm blood to make their ultimate weapon aka Edelgard. Nemesis himself is just a footnote in history that justifies the current landscape of Fodlan

People will claim that the Slitherers will come back in AG/SB despite jobbing in all routes of the original game and in this one
They're just a terribly written faction, where they simultaneously have access to nukes and sci-fi levels of technology, but are still powerless to medival dudes and everything to do with them taints the story by association
