However now that they started going this route might as well finish because there is no other good options. Estelle seems to me a little too forced in relation to other characters. I mean, there are some that are quite caricatured like that photographer, but she's secondary so I don't doubt that she's like that in the Japanese version. But Estelle seems like she's a level above others, it is as if they are forcing it in an attempt to give her certain personality.

Gameplay is pointless if even boss battles only last 30 seconds or you are unkillable or you get infinite turns. It doesn't matter how smooth you make the UI or how many pointless trinkets you can play around with. Hard / Nightmare in the earlier games, especially SC and 3rd, succeeded on the basics and could be very tense (inb4 "what about Richard???" I am not saying they were perfect).
