I pre-ordered the edition that releases Friday and I don't believe you. I also don't care. The fact that you can explore a frickload of empty planets means nothing to me and I will walk around one a total of 5 minutes before I start trying to track down the actual content.
The one positive I can see in all the empty space is being able to mod more content in without making an already oversaturated map feel even more like a theme park.
Thing thing about the empty planets is they have already said you can mod planets so we have hundreds of nothing special words that can be overwritten with player content or manipulated with no effect on the core game.

It's still selling worse than BG3 though, which as far as we know only sold 2.5 million since it's actual launch. This means Starfield has sold less than this on Steam.

Every "leak" I've seen so far has either been fricking nothing like the start menu, or some grainy as frick pictures where you can't even see anything because some moron is recording at 480p off his 720p TV. We don't have any worthwhile leaks. It's hard to judge a game from such shitty quality pictures and 2 minute videos.

I want to see where the player starts, the dialogue, how the game handles quest markers and if it holds your hand or not, how much scope there are to the quests (do they send you to different systems or are just local?), and the different space suits for travelling in distant systems (since it was hinted at that there would be different space suit requirements for different systems), the gun play with different guns in these different systems, the gun customization, potential rewards, can any ship fly to any system or are there spec requirements? Etc etc. I'll wait since you seem to obviously have the answers.
