Watched the trailer and looked at the screenshots. Pretty much all of it is focusing on cultist nonsense and random human characters. Even the trailer has like, a single moment shown of the actual goat, then it goes right back into the cultists. I doubt it was something I would buy anyways, but the marketing seems a little off-putting. The original Sucker for Love was cool because it was more or less just you caught between various lovecraftian beings, not constantly dealing with other random NPCs.
Maybe it's more focused in the actual game, but just glancing at what's being put on display isn't really that interesting. That and an ace protagonist is funny in concept, but I much prefer the dumbass horndog you played as in the first game. It made for a much more entertaining dynamic and, honestly, the main appeal of the game. The whole idea was that you're dealing with this eldritch nightmares, whereas your protagonist is a dumbass that wants a kiss.
Again, maybe it's better in game than I give it credit for, but the whole concept and marketing really put me off.
