Had this not been mismanaged to near death by Nexon, I swear this should have been one of the best MMOs ever made.

I couldn't list everything great about, but not every niche feature would need to be copied. Like seriously, I'm mad every day nobody decided to rip-off Mabinogi and make it even slightly better. It's probably the only type of game I'd ever attempt to fund kickstarter wise.

Mabinogi has been bad since alchemy was added and any attempts to copy post-Iria Mabinogi would be just as bad. SMT: Imagine used a similar system, try playing a private server of that. A lot of new MMOs try to copy the fantasy life and MML things.
Pretty much all of nexon's mmos were bangers at one point, mabinogi, vindictus and maplestory. I honestly think vindictive has the best mmo combat of all time and can be played solo for fun to this day.

they got rid of both CP training and reduced training experience by 90%, can even get master title at 100 skill training instead of filling out every requirement
I agree with you on the premise, but there's no chance anyone trying to implement systems like mabis wouldn't have their own 'vision' of how it should work.
Id honestly rather see mabis systems disappear and be forgotten than poorly copied and bastardized into something else.

they are moving from an inhouse engine to UE5, rework is necessary, they even announced that not all features will be available and some changes must be made, so the whole 'port over' thing is a load of shit
