It is unreasonable to consider that after being so aggressively with monetization they would shy away of making an expansion cost at the very least $59.99-69.99 with a $89.99-99.99 deluxe edition of said expansion.

D3 was squarely in the (relatively) old school of frequent updates that did not really constitute live service. The true definition of live service necessarily includes frequent updates of paid content, which D3 definitely did not get.
Well that's because D3 is over 10 years old now and battle passes and shops weren't entrenched yet.

Basically that's how Lilith portrays herself, and Inarius is full WHITE MALE mode, but the human protagonists all implicitly reject Lilith's attempts to justify her behaviour because they can clearly see all the murder and shit she's done.
It does come across as weird though.
The Prime Evils are reforming and only Lilith has a plan to help humanity fight them, or that's how it's presented. But then we show up and kill Andariel, Duriel, Lilith, and hordes of lesser demons easily. We don't need any of them to win.

Crusaders would fit well since they're basically nomadic templars in french foreign legion flavor. They don't worship at church and can't be corrupted (blizzards idea to make them mary sues).

I just finished the campaign, and if that was all that this game had to offer, it would have been enough for me.
When I finished, I sat there for 45 minutes and listened to the music, and looked at all the pictures of the memories of participating in this drama.
I have read books, and have reached the end and have felt this sense of emptiness because the adventure was over.
I felt that with this magnificent production.

Diablo classes always felt weird to me. Things like barbarian, witch doctor, druid and monk just don't fit with the setting at all. It's like if a historical Japanese game had you playing as a viking or something.

World Of Warcraft...another BLIZZARD game warns the players before shutting servers down. As they should, it's common sense.
