Yes but like others have mentioned in fixing online they broke Undead Nightmare completely.
I played online with some friends last year and it was still comfy (still pretty full lobbies too surprisingly) and it has LAN support so even when the servers go offline you can do "singleplayer" online roaming or use one of those fake proxy things to play with random indians a billion miles away on fake lan networks
Also as an added bonus Rockstar made all the Online DLC free a while ago so there's lots of player models and modes to use.

Anon the 360 and ps3 is the same game, the 360 just had its settings bumped up since it had more room to work with. What people fail to forget(probably because they don't actually play it) is the latest patches frick up undead nightmare and make it unplayable and they are not removable on the x1 and up.

No, I bought a second-hand 360 last year to play Samurai Warriors 2, and I played RDR1 at the same time. It's shit. Literally just GTA4 but even worse because it has none of the extra gameplay options associated with the social links, no vehicle variety, and no radio stations. The entire "gameplay", just like most console shooters, is tapping the aim button and then pressing fire because it auto-locks you onto targets. Utter slop. Never listen to console players when they say something is good.

Owning a either a Xbox One X or Series X gives you access to a lot of OG Xbox and 360 games via BC (along with the tiny tiny fricking amount of meme console exclusive shit the Xbox One had) and the PS5 gives you access to some superior versions of PS4 games at 60fps as well as the handful of PS5 exclusives that aren't ported to PC yet.
There's benefits to that although if you already had a PS4/Xbox One it is minimal unless you care about getting the most out of console exclusive content.
I own a very good PC, PS5, Xbox One X and a Switch and it's a good way to play any content you want really.

So that's probably still going to be the best version since it has Online multiplayer (even if that gets turned off it has LAN support which I play from time to time) and the 360 version of the game was the superior one anyway graphically.
Only downside is the Xbox One X version of Undead Nightmare is basically unplayable due to game breaking bugs from the last patch they did to fix Online cheating (PS3 and Xbox 360 ones are also broken but you can just delete the patch data to get it to a vanilla state)

Well, the Switch emulation is thousands times better than the PS3/Xbox360 emulation currently. So, this is gonna be the best way to play it on PC.
Xenia is kind of ass tbch, like it runs good 99% of the time, but there's a weird glitch in game that was never patched from the original hardware like if you go to mexico and you roam the desert, your Aim assist is broken, and you have to restart your whole pc to get it back, but if you play on hardcore mode then it shouldn't be a problem with no aim assist.
There is absolutely no way it's only releasing for PS4/Switch.
Some kind of PS5/XSX/PC release should be also be there, though I have no idea why they didn't announce it along with this.

I loved the game and it sucks on one hand, but on the other:
1. I won't regret that I already completed it on Xenia.
2. I won't have an urge to waste my time and money to replay it on Steam.
3. There will be a Switch version, which should both look better and take less resources to emulate than X360/PS3. Consider this a PC port you don't have to be sorry for pirating, cause Rockstar themselves didn't let you buy it. They showed you the middle finger - you showed it them back.

They already had RDR1 on Xbox many years ago. 4K and better aliasing through BC.

Neither ps4 or switch, most likely. If you want 60 fps emulate it through xenia.
With emulation there is no gold face moron, you can now play this on Ryujinx and Yuzu in addition to Xenia (which already ran it at 4k 60)
