I can't fricking get past the snow/ice level for the life of me. The mobs get super agro and the projectiles are way too fricking fast for me it filters the frick out of me but I keep coming back to it. The AI predict when you're going to levitate and where you're going to land, 20 hours in this game so far and I can't get past it. I almost did with the invisibility skill but got ganged the minute I got wet.
If the snipers are shooting at you then just levitate up and free fall right before they fire. You'll fall out of its path every time. The rifle jetpack guys are easy just don't stand still. The grenade launcher jetpackers are fricking clairvoyant, they always manage to hit me even if I dodge most of them. The tanks you just need to blast them down ASAP.
Yeah good call. This is a good way to just clobber them in hisii base when they're bottlenecked in one of the tall shafts trying to fly up to you. Another point for those guys is if the big one with the horns is around, every certain percentage of HP you take out he spawns another smaller one (20%?) so blasting him down will just spawn a bunch more
run like an absolute motherfricker from the things that are hard to kill, eg Ukko (the lightning fricker), the robots in general, and anything else that you can't kill in a few hits. The crystal things are easy as frick.
Otherwise follow the advice of

That shit is just practice makes perfect till you get it.
This game's short runs are varied and interesting enough to keep playing until you hit those god-tier runs. This was one of the most fun teleport wands I made on a run with good immunities.
While continuously teleporting you forward. You teleport, it casts a nuke with zero flight time that instantly detonates. You are frame-by-frame teleporting and nuke detonating. I have a gif but it's 5MB so I can't post it. :<
FFMPEG that shit or webm for morons it. I gotta see.
I had 60 runs before my first win. My go to is usually making a cheap machine gun wand to get to hisii base and a sparkbolt trigger blowie uppie wand for my moan damage
(and if I don't find a freezing charge spell to freeze everything jungle onward then I'm fricked)
They're garbage and a noob trap for newbies who just discovered how to make a decently working wand. The actual good shit is a wand with a spark bolt timer followed by a massive payload that disintegrates anything in its vicinity.
You’re supposed to use machine gun wands for clearing trash, and sparkbolt with trigger + homing + something that kills you for bosses. Sparkbolt is way easier and safer for clearing levels besides shit like homing damage circle of shielding but that shit is less guaranteed. You can get a machine gun wand in like every run unless you are moronic.
the machine gun (or shotgun) is what youre supposed to use before you have enough slots/spells to make the trigger payload
and then the payload wand gets surpassed by a homing thing eventually
the noob traps are lightning/saw blades
which is sad because theyre both very fun to use but they dont scale for shit unfortunately
i never bothered to go past the jungle zone cause spiders are scary. Only did it once on an invisible run
>but I'm glad I played it blind
based. Anyone who needs a wiki to play is a gay and any game built around reading the wiki constantly for important info is for homosexuals

I have like 80 hours and no wins
Today I got pretty far though
I got through the biome thats all jungley with the big green creepy crawlies.
But I didnt get any heart containers the past 2 zones so its probably not gonna go well.
I really like this game but I think the power creep it experienced is incredibly fricking annoying. to do any of the endgame stuff you have travel to parallel worlds to perk stack to the point you're functionally immortal, but you'll still die to a single pixel of poly, or if you shift it out the master hitting you from off screen.
I think that a better game designer would've been able to make hard endgame content without the only way of death being a oneshot
also spell variety/combinations is so lackluster. so many spells are just projectiles with a gimmick every good wand just tries to vomit up as many projectiles as possible, or completely decimate the map, or summon wisps to play the game for you.
i still remember my first run i found torch and wind and combined them to make a flamethrower. It made me think that combining spells like that would actually be viable
Yeah, all the endgame stuff to do is really lame. It’s all shit like >find these 4 hidden shits spreads out underground so you’ll never find them without using the wiki and drag them to another hidden area
And turning the game into a walking sim where you become immortal besides to exactly poly. Also the game just breaks if you do too many parallel worlds.
>Also the game just breaks if you do too many parallel worlds
Sounds like you're not practicing good engine sanitation. Complete skill issue. Back to the Mines with you.
>engine sanitation
Tell the devs to sanitize their shit fricking engine instead of writing cope posts like this. >it's another episode of walking into the Overgrown Caverns only to find every potion in a 10km radius broken with absolutely zero enemies or respawning mushrooms nearby
That has to be an always cast nuke wand because that specific design wand always fricking sucks. It's a common spawn in the mines and I literally never, EVER take it.
>megumi skin
>edit wands everywhere
>anvil of destiny
yep, it's gaming time
>Tranime
>Handicap
>Power creep
yep, you are a nigher.
same but no anvil

At this point I don't really have much trouble with any of the levels, it's just a case of spell/wand rng. Can't make anything OP and you're fricked.
I've only gotten past the snow levels once and I fricking died because I took electrified and it popped a metal explosive barrel next to me

It should be noted that the jetback guys can't shoot directly above them, so just get on top of them and you aren't at risk of getting hit.

Easiest way to dodge projectiles is to just change your Y coordinate. Hiisi are trained on hitting panicking targets
10 hours is nothing, I got my first win at 45, if you're not looking anything up prepare for at least 80
>if you're not looking anything up prepare for at least 80
lmao get good kid

What is a machine gun wand?

Just find a spark bolt with trigger bro.

Begone, filthy pleb.
t. Spark Bolt Trigger Master Race
What board was that?
>10 hours and no wins
I had my fair share of embarrassing deaths but I'm glad I played it blind.

What does it do, make instant detonating nukes?
While continuously teleporting you forward. You teleport, it casts a nuke with zero flight time that instantly detonates. You are frame-by-frame teleporting and nuke detonating. I have a gif but it's 5MB so I can't post it. :<

is it bad that these just pissed me off? I might just be a stubborn moron
I feel like you can realistically almost always get god tier runs.
