I don't see the appeal of this game without mods. It's like those ancient SNES games that are just 3 hours long, but the difficulty is so high and random that you die 200 times and finally only beat it due to trial and error. There isn't any "getting good" at Noita. You get the best RNG or you die.
I died about 30 times in the first week of buying it and finally caved and used the tinker anywhere and enemies drop health mods.
I totally get why people feel this way. When I first started I used the tinker mod for a while to get used to the system, there's so many spells to frick with and it's so easy to have a nice day unintentionally while testing, but it does take away from the whole learning aspect, even if a lot of it is archaic.

Thought I could get omnisawblade to work with projectile repulsion field which keeps it hovering in frount of you. But I moved slightly too fast and ate a sawblade to the face
There's a setup that freezes the omnisaws in the air when within your propulsion field. The small shield in front of where you're aiming really helps buffer them from coming in too hot and Noita'ing you.
Yes, you can stack a ludicrous amount of projectiles in a wall in front of you and then walk them into a boss. I prefer to crack the dragon egg that way whenever I have the setup.

Simple spark bolt with trigger, a few chainsaws/drills and a damage plus easily reaches maximum fire rate and instantly deletes anything up to the vault for like 20 mana per cast, which is completely covered by 1 add mana or mostly covered a high recharge tier 3+ wand
Recharge time is easier to lower than cast delay via chainsaw and melee spells.
Add mana is a free 30 mana of spells to put on a wand. This means 30 mana of casted spells are free and any surplus on a 0.00 wand will pump your recharge rate.
If a wand holds 150-200 mana but regens 800 mana a second and has a 2 second cast time but a 0.2-0.48 recharge time it's an extremely powerful wand because so long as you regen more mana than a spell with no cast delay consumes you can turn it into a death ray thrower and with chainsaws reduction to cast time triple cast allows a 0.00 recharge time.
TLDR go for 0.00 recharge delay and very high mana regen.

boomerang spells perk increases spell lifetime which allows the luminous drill to travel further
Boomerang and bouncing both make luminous drill a piss laser of doom by massively extending projectile lifetime
