The old SEA translators that did name chances got replaced so thats not been issue in a long time. Overall the gacha translation is ok. Relink however not only has memes up the ass but also seems to have general erros too in the translation, it feels like it was done by completely different group

I find the setting, world, music, and designs quite comfortable and nostalgic in a way.
Your mileage may vary with the story, but I find it fun.
Translation is bad in both, but Relink really got a raw deal. I'm convinced they used Xseed for translation on top of the publishing honestly.
The mobile game is a turned based RPG/Visual novel that, unless you do end game stuff/raids, will have you tapping the "attack" button and occasional skills as you read through the story chapters. Its what I've done for years pretty casually just because as I said, artistically it just hits a note with me. I just wish they didn't muck it up on the jump from JP to EN so much.
You should do the opposite. Play relink first, watch/read the plot, events and fate episodes of characters from the main game you are interested in later. Gacha game is 10 years old and have a lot of content.

I still point people here and there towards fan translations from gbatemp, cdromance and gamebanana that decensor the bullshit.

The translation isn't necessarily 'censored' but it's very inaccurate to the original Japanese, in some places it's a borderline re-write with no attempt to translate whatsoever.
