I get you. After I turned 35 it suddenly became possible for me to fall asleep in headphones (with loud music playing) or while sitting upright and playing a game on my PC. In my 20's I could play all night, no matter how tired I was (I was just slower), but now when I try to play after work, half of the time I start falling asleep even in the middle of shootout during a multiplayer match, only to wake up a minute or two later, with my character dead or running into a wall, while my teammates yell into my ears through my headset to stop snoring. In single player games I can enter a cycle when I am lucid for a few seconds and then drift away, and when I finally wake up enough to realize I should go to bed, I'm in some entirely different location, doing something I have no recollection of starting or even planning to do. It's like one part of my brain falls asleep and another takes over.

Iplayed though Starfield all the way to NG+ without a single bug yet Act 3 of BG3 was literally unplayable for a month after launch.
