The virtual pixel mount is not something neccasery to survive, its not insulin or any other life saving drug, drinkable water, food, etc.
Its literally just bunch of pixels people buy to feel better about themselves. It doesnt even affect gameplay (its just as fast as regular mount)
Blizzard is charging premium for bunch of pixels and if morons that are willing to pay this premium exist, i dont see any reason why Blizzard or any other company shouldnt milk them.
