She was terrible in the first game. Not sure how anyone can enjoy her character. Durance was based though.

Brainwashed Avellone fanboy detected. Durance was interesting but GM was garbage. There's literally no way you'd group the two of them as examples of good characters if you didn't know they were written by the same person.
Deadfire is one of the greatest RPGs of all time though

Come to terms that the genre is niche, and that for every decent crpg game we get, the other genres get like 10-50 games.

The big issue for me is no steam workshop support, so no one can make a real easy 'skip the boring parts' of Kingmaker and Wrath.
