You can tell a lot of the users never played the game because they spam the "you just hold one button to win crap". That or they equippes the timely rings without realizing it's easy mode.
It's also funny when they complain about story when this is the most FF story in a while. And FF games have almost always had dumb stories full of holes. It's a Japanese trademark almost.

> We barely need stats > We don't need status ailments > We don't need elemental weaknesses/strengths > We don't need physical/magical division damage > We don't need buffs/debuffs > We don't need skill/magic variety > We don't need mana/stamina systems > We don't need Black folk, but we add homosexuals instead > We don't need active exploration > We don't need good sidequests > We don't need secrets around the world > We don't need endgame > We don't need superbosses > We don't need turns, it's time to evolve > RPG evolution is just turning into Devil May Cry and removing basic content
What's funny with all the criticisms is that it's blatant it's not people who actually played the game or even watched gameplay. This game day 1 buries FF15 with all the DLCs and updates
Square seems like they're run by people who really wish they could just be done making games and sit on money. "What if we put all our money into an MMO, those are popular" "let's get the DMC guy, people like those games" remakes remakes remakes, it's like there isn't a single person there with an idea they're eager to put out.
Playing through it right now, currently up through Black Shields arc. This game is the most Final Fantasy game since 9. Yeah its a fricking Devil May Cry game but the narrative actually feels like Final Fantasy. And more importantly it's the first time where it actually feels like you're traveling across the whole map.
I dont understand why people are still crying about no turnbased in modern ff releases. Play dragon quest or turnbased indie game #5234432, nobody gives a shit gay, this game never promised to be turn based in the first place
58% through the game now after about 26 hours. I've also been doing just about every side quest and monster hunt, too. I'm glad I did cause I got a badge that increased by defense by a whopping 30 fricking points.
I just finished up the Titan boss fight two hours ago, it was definitely impressive and fun to watch and play, but I actually found it easier than the Typhon fight. Then again, I was still getting used to Ifrit's full moveset, so that could be part of it. Three mother crystals down, two to go.
I've found that my go to Eikon form in battles is Garuda because it melts the stagger bar. Any suggestions?
but it says it right there
tbh I didn’t think it was either but then I played it for like 20 hours and it absolutely is. It’s the best one since 10, too.
But 10 was fricking terrible
What's your favorite one?
Would be nice if I could know which FF game this is without pulling out my phone to google roman numerals like a fricking caveman.
>Having to google basic roman numerals
You're a literal moron
Your*
The fricking irony
American education everyone
>struggles with basic roman numerals
kys, moron
For your own good I really hope the second one is someone pretending to be you
X is 10. V is 5. If you can't figure out the rest from there you're a moron.
What is final fantasy?
Not even a finished game.

The fact that FFXV Windows Edition has anything above a 3 is suspect enough.
and that's a good thing
*slurpee

We most certainly do not need shazamtrannies
I don't care tbh. The rpg FF games never interested me, there are better RPGs. The only FF game I had fun with was Tactics.
FFXVI isn't great though. Just alright.
Status ailments are annoying af. You just end up stockpiling a shitload of potions and herbs or whatever the game has.
ACCESSIBILITY IS A GOOD THING ANON
What's funny with all the criticisms is that it's blatant it's not people who actually played the game or even watched gameplay. This game day 1 buries FF15 with all the DLCs and updates
Not an argument anon, being better than XV is nothing to be proud of, it should be standard.
The fact it's the bar they've spontaneously set for the game they want to shill is eloquent enough.
Hmm yes it is quite shallow and pedantic psued-kun
>Westerized action slop with near zero RPG mechanics.

You can tell they were def eager about this game though. They put a lot into it.
Somewhat unrelated but I really dig the affinity chart/world event chart that shows the movement of forces throughout every little episode of story.
Squeenix management has always been moronic
Their big franchises survive on sheer momentum

jfc the cope is kinda sad
Sick consoomer meme template, its also used by Star Shitizen simps
Yeah, they will probably make more of the series
Yeah cool but where's the not gay porn? There's like only 2 shitty AI pics.
I find it really funny that ShillUp's video rustles tons of jimmies.
Haha am I doing this Ganker thing right fellow shitlords? I can't figure out how to make an account its not as easy as reddit haha
Yea but what is final fantasy
I don't know, that title says otherwise.
no turn based no buy
I dont understand why people are still crying about no turnbased in modern ff releases. Play dragon quest or turnbased indie game #5234432, nobody gives a shit gay, this game never promised to be turn based in the first place
Don't pipe up if you're not a final fantasy fan. The troony mmo doesn't count.
I I've played every mainline ff game outside of 12 and 14, lower your tone when speaking to me sissy
You wouldn't buy FF4-9?
>bored for too much cutscenes
>DMC style gameplay
Devil May Clive
TikTok isn't a typical Zelda game yet you jizz over it
Sorry This is Final Fantasy going forward
Is it even an RPG? And how linear is it?
It's a step forward for the series
