It's amazing. There are tons of missions and the LED display looks fantastic. The building collapsing and releasing mutiballs is my favorite thing about the machine. It's the best stern machine I've ever played
Time to rent a truck and a crowbar next time there's a lockdown.
Every month I check to see if someone has cracked these gems. I wish they just sold them again. I really like Little Wing pinball games.
https://archive.org/details/littlewing-pinball
If the repairs aren't too intensive, I do them myself. The machines came with a good set of instructions. Im going to made some modifications to Godzilla already and it seems doable
Nice. I'm pretty curious about the Alice Cooper. How are the rules and the gameplay?
I suppose the soundtrack is just a set of Alice Cooper songs, just like any band theme pinball. Does it get repetitive?
It's probably the Addams, but I've played thousands of games on this one so nowadays I play the others a bit more.
My father also bought Banzai Run back in 1995. So much fun with this back in the days.
>Judge Dredd
Nice. I like that game.
Based and crazy ramps pilled. Pic related.
There are also two nice little cameos of characters from Creature from the Black Lagoon
>How are the rules and the gameplay?
Basically you have to make certain shots to go from room to room. There's an objective when you enter a new room and the screen will have some animation and stuff when you enter. The shots are very precise and you basically have to hold the shot and aim. Different from Godzilla where you don't really need such precise aiming and can just shoot the ball and get a bunch of points.
It's the best Data East to me (with Hook).
Pretty solid game, but some modes are surprisingly short, which makes those feel like mini-games.
The triple jackpot is pretty damn nice.
Surprisingly, it's also the one which required the least maintenance. I purchased it 3 years ago and so far only one diode went bad.
How much is the guy asking for it? Got mine for ~2200€
If you get one, I strongly advise you to get the custom rom some guy made (https://www.pinballcode.com/tftc4). The scoring is now much more balanced and the keeper's cackling SFX's frequency has been reduced.
You can also turn off the shaker in the menu, although the option is some cryptic description so you gotta check online.
Thanks for your answer, he is asking for 4500€ lol (I'm french if that matters).
Thing is it's somewhat rare to see such a nice pinball around where I live.
Also, it will be my first pinball ever. Makes me a bit scared about maintenance
Lol I'm french too but honestly the machine isn't worth 4500€ (even if it's in perfect 10/10 condition).
I assume you're in southern France if they are scarce?
Routine maintenance is fairly easy, really. The worst that could happen on this one -playfield wise- would be the tombstone motor failing.

Yeah I figured it was overpriced but go look at Leboncoin rn it's been like that since a year. Or maybe you have smth good for sale at a fair price?
I'm from Grenoble

Sorry anon, I'm keeping them all... and getting some more in the future.
I'd invite you over to play them over a few beers but the drive from Grenoble is 7 hours.
Leboncoin prices are absolutely moronic, indeed. But manchildren still buy when it's way overpriced, and I don't see the prices coming down ever.
I looked up Lyon Flipper for you, they have two very interesting pinballs around 3000€ (No Good Gofers and The Shadow) that are way better to me than TFTC but the website says "contact us" ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting, thanks. I hope I'll come across one someday.

Lucky you!
Well I didn't know about Lyon flipper and I assumed pros would rape me with prices so I didn't even bother. But they seem to be somewhat fair I may give them a call sometime soon

The prices are suspiciously fair so I'd suspect the playfields are pretty busted. Please keep us updated, I'm curious about it.

Yeah that's what I'm guessing, especially since it's only stock photos. Better yet, I will go see some wife's friends living up there. Will take pics and post them here. I hope the guy won't be on vacation

Godspeed, anon. Don't hesitate to make a new thread if there's no pinball thread.
No vacations for me this year anyway...
It's Banzai Run, anon. The first pinball designed by Lawlor and the only pinball to feature a vertical, working playfield.
(pic related is taken from pinside, I don't have other pics from back when I repaired it at home)
Gotta love the cheesy rock'n roll-ish soundtrack, which sounds way better IRL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4qcbYm4Nwo
All eras of pinball are allowed on /vr/ because there is literally no other board to post them on.
That said, solid machines. I'm on a long-ass waiting list for a Godzilla premium myself. It will (eventually) be my first NIB machine, and first Sterm. I've only owned Williams games in the past.
I love pinball but there's no tables near me and buying one is expensive as frick. My dream table is the Williams Arabian Nights one I remember playing as a kid. Are there any good pinball vidya? I know a couple feature this table.
>My dream table is the Williams Arabian Nights one I remember playing as a kid
There's currently one at my local bar, and I'm having a blast with it. The rules are pretty shallow, but it's surprisingly fun to play.
>pinball vidya
Real pinballs or new ones?
I really like Slam Tilt (the racing and horror tables are great): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z6xurCTtFE
It stills runs on windows 10 I think.
>Are there any good pinball vidya?
pirate Pinball Arcade, they have lost a lot of their licenses over the years so you cant buy them now but my cracked version has like 80 tables
pinball fx3 is okay
obligatory timeshock! recommendation
I kinda like it. The Super Jackpot stacking thing is interesting.
(You light Super Jackpots by performing various tasks, and then you collect them all at the Dragula shot. But you want to collect a bunch at once because they grow exponentially the more you have.)
Yeah, if you get into the more complex multipliers and stuff like that it's probably not bad. I am not a fan of the baby pinball underneath, if you have the pro version that isn't included and there is just a giant patch of bare wood under the playfield.
For me the worst thing was the repetitive nature of the sound and video element, after a few games I can't take it any more.
Sure, I’ll rate it as “I’m extremely jealous”/10, specifically for that Godzilla one. Play it every day and appreciate what you have. If I had 12k to play around with I’d have dropped it on that Godzilla one too. I do have a pretty cool movie poster from the King of the Monsters movie though.
Every month I check to see if someone has cracked these gems. I wish they just sold them again. I really like Little Wing pinball games.

Godzilla is a great game, Alice I thought was kinda iffy but I only spent a little time with it, and it was having some kind of weird problems as well.
Part of my job is fixing pinball, which I enjoy a lot, but as a hobby I find it sucks unless you have a lot of money to blow on tables. The prices are fricking moronic right now, and more and more dumb fricks are coming out of the woodwork trying to sell their beat to shit "grand Lizard" for $4000 when two years ago you'd be lucky to sell it for $1800.
I've kind of given up at the moment, I sold my Fire! and Pharaoh for a decent price and have been sitting on that money hoping for something reasonable to come up for sale.
fricking sick, and even modern pinball is A-OK on /vr/. How is Godzilla?
It's amazing. There are tons of missions and the LED display looks fantastic. The building collapsing and releasing mutiballs is my favorite thing about the machine. It's the best stern machine I've ever played
$12k for Godzilla
$9k for Alice Cooper
That sounds super cool, maybe I'll get to play one sometime.
> $12k for Godzilla
$9k for Alice Cooper
Damn, how is this so expensive?
Almost new or what?
I didn't know Godzilla premiums were going for that much. You must really not like waiting. Which is understandable
Sometimes I forget just how expensive these fricking things are and then remember my closest arcade has like 20 of them on the second floor
Time to rent a truck and a crowbar next time there's a lockdown.
These look so weird... are they even good?
I really enjoyed them from what I played
How much did they set you back OP?
do you repair them yourself if they break or do you know a technician ?
If the repairs aren't too intensive, I do them myself. The machines came with a good set of instructions. Im going to made some modifications to Godzilla already and it seems doable
Nice. I'm pretty curious about the Alice Cooper. How are the rules and the gameplay?

Here's my humble collection.
Pinballs are usually pretty easy to repair.
>Judge Dredd
Nice. I like that game.
>Adams Family
that's an awesome one dude. which one is your favorite?
It's probably the Addams, but I've played thousands of games on this one so nowadays I play the others a bit more.

Nice choices
Dredd looks absolutely based
It is. Look at that madlad of a layout.
It's usually overlooked because there are no bumpers.
Can't rate. Never played either one of them.
I'd love to own Alien
my pops has one
i realistically cannot afford a 10K machine
i would buy a third car before the pinball
When can I buy a dragon ball z pinball machine?
Here's your machine, anon.
Thanks 🙂
How is TFTC ? I may be able to get one for way too much money at less than 1h away but the moron doesn't look at his messages

That said, solid machines. I'm on a long-ass waiting list for a Godzilla premium myself. It will (eventually) be my first NIB machine, and first Sterm. I've only owned Williams games in the past.
Nice! I just went to the 1-Up Barcade in Denver. They have a sizeable pinball collection. I didn't even take a pic of the other wall.
dumping a couple. Leaving out the Rick and Morty machine lol.
I could be wrong, but it's been about 40 years since I last saw this one.
>color dmd
Into the trash it goes.
It's clearly an AFM remake so that's probably what it came with. Notice how it's also larger than a standard DMD.
I applaud you for not photographing Baby Pac-man. EVERYONE over-estimates how rare that one is.
I'd play the shit out of that attack from mars
post pinball about dinosaurs
What is this expression trying to convey?
seems accurate
lizards dont have a ray of emotions that are expressible through facial features/reactions
much of the way they communicate is through pheromones/ sound
when a lizard dies or is being attacked it writhes & closes its eyes slowly
id say 8/10 art for accuracy
or its impale fetish
It's true that the cover looks surprisingly silent.
pinballmap.com
My uncle had this one along with an Addams Family one at his house.
8/10 worth getting molested
the thrid one film didn't get a pinball machine? shame I'll check that website.
That looks nice though
What's the price on this?
Also: Flintstones, Deadpool, and Hot Wheels.
I've always disliked how overreliant on licenses pinball was
Why are there so few original designs?
Because that's what the customers demand. And because licensing is easier than creating everything from scratch.
I love pinball but there's no tables near me and buying one is expensive as frick. My dream table is the Williams Arabian Nights one I remember playing as a kid. Are there any good pinball vidya? I know a couple feature this table.

Real preferably, or at least tables which could feasibly function in reality. I should probably go poking around more bars

visual pinball has a solid recreation
>jpsalas
This man makes the absolute best shit on VPX. Even his original pins are a ton of fun.
What bands/musicians do you want to see get pinball machines?
Elton John?
Pink Floyd?
Prince?
(Queen is coming from The Pinball Brothers, there are pictures online)
A Skrewdriver pinball.
boris
Def Leppard Pinball Machine
They look ok, but I'd rather play the Munsters or Terminator ones
Munsters is fricking awful. One of the lamest modern sterns I've played.
I kinda like it. The Super Jackpot stacking thing is interesting.

Hey guys,
What if you got together a bunch of pinball tables, rigged them up with cameras and hosted a pinball cloud-gaming service?
Would it work?
That exists. https://www.surrogate.tv/
Played that Godzilla one recently at our local small town amusement place. It's decent. Good choice.
Can I join in guys???
I just got this at a thrift store for a dollar... It has dinosaurs and you can save a cave woman in a bikini (hot)
Frick yes, a rare pinball thread
If you like that, play 3D Ultra Thrillride. I'd say it's the best one in the series. Great music too.
Here’s a little something that’s fun and related to the thread:
I am trying to save up money for a godzilla, but it will be a while.

The playfield looks interesting but man I hate bands themed pinball and I especially dislike Queen.
new weird al pinball footage
>Weird Al
I'm so fricking excited to play this. Every time I saw a new band pin, I always thought "they need to make a goddamn Weird Al one."
Could I get recommendations for some /vr/ related pinball games? This thread has made me want to play some like no other.
pro pinball timeshock and big race usa
Nice, looks like I can throw all of those onto my vita except 3d Space Cadet. I appreciate the recommendations.
Devil's Crush is always recommended. It's pretty fun.
3d Space Cadet Pinball is probably the most played pinball game of all time.
Pinball tournaments with insane custom pinball machines.
You would be a fool not to check these vids out!!!
That's too awkward fpr me. I just want to play and have a laugh with my friends, not do pull-ups to see the playfield.
When you play enough pinball it gets boring, and then you have to play progessively freakier and freakier pinball to get the same experience.
Cringe and no.
Godzilla is a great game, Alice I thought was kinda iffy but I only spent a little time with it, and it was having some kind of weird problems as well.
