why did this moron call it holocure that's actually the most stupid name I've ever heard for a video game title the frick is the point of the "cure" part
Most of the enemies are the mascots/personifications of the tuber's fans.

Twitch prostitutes are popular.
Twitch prostitutes [but with anime skin] are granted to be a hit with both ironic weebs and normalgays who pretend not to be normalgays. Also applies to the japanese side of things.
That stuff had decent presence in its time, just not among the normalgays.
Now streaming is extremely popular and everyone and their mother is on the internet, literally. I'm sure I don't need to explain why hordes of morons flock to any female they see online.
>streamers and people who make videos popular in east and west >Japanese always done stuff like using voiceroids and pngs to represent themselves in videos while westerners also used drawings
They were always around. The boom around normalgays is what really pushed them forward. Add to that the idolgays and people who obsess over female streamers and it got really, really big once Nijisanji got around and Hoe-girlve started collabing with them.
I don’t know but the spamming about this dogshit game that’s flatly worse than VS, itself already a very basic game, exposed just how much vtuber trash posts here. I was happier when I thought /vt/ was an incredibly stupid jannie joke because nobody seriously watches that shit right?
they weren't bots, they were people coming from every part of the internet to talk about Hoe-girlve specifically. They basically treated the threads like twitch chatrooms and flooded the board with like 10 threads every time one died and made threads for every single member seperately.
moron.
You had to be there. During the debuts of the english girls those threads would hit image limit faster than i've ever seen Ganker move before. It reminds me of one person screaming in a chimpanzee exhibit and then they all start screaming and going insane. First the images limit hits, then the gosling ascii art shit, then before you know it you're looking in the catalog again. Shit was insane.
This is actually true. /jp/ was the fastest moving board beating out /misc/ and Ganker when it was happening, I think it was the first time, too.

It became super fast when Hoe-girlve hit their stride with Nijisanji and then when the EN branch was announced it blew up. Every single EN member who had their debut sped past /misc/ for a while it was crazy
When everyone was a normalgay streamer, Kizuna Ai was 3D anime girl streamer, which was new. After her company fricked up hard, people started to look into other 3D anime girl streamers. Then pandemic happened, and people got stuck at home, so watching 3D anime girls streaming became popular.
Also >Miku
She actually was damn popular in the West, she's just a vocaloid and not an actual streamer. >2d idols
Not sure what is meant by this - im@s and Love Live? Probbly because idol culture is mostly Jap stuff. Hoe-girlve kinda tried to start as 2D idol company (Gen 0 and 1 were pretty much idols, with Gen 1 having intentional designs as idol group and Gen 0 was just a group of indie vtubers gathered together), it's just starting with Gen 3 they went for totally different approach. >2hu
Kinda hard for western fanbase to beat nip fanbase that made 2hu popular with fanmade content in the first place, still wouldn't say 2hu isn't big in the West. >Kancolle
They fricked up and pushed specifically for JP boats and JP history while ignoring other nations and trying to aim for serious narrative... while still having sexy designs. Azur Lane basically expanded upon what Kancolle had and stole its popularity in the West.
It's also worth mentioning that all those four franchises are fictional characters who can't interact with you while vtubers have real people behind them so it's "anime girl in real life" on practice.
Dumb weebs who will spend 13 hours a day watching "I'm a cute animu girl! time for video games UwU" character reskin #46,853, which made them a ton of money to the point where Western entities/'creators' launched their own which pushed it further into the mainstream.
I only follow Korone but I love how endearing her streams are plus she plays interesting and varies games. I can see now how people get into the rabbit hole. I don't know anything about the other girls or care for them either way but I am sure they all have some kind of interesting facet about them that attracts viewers.
those are still niche things >miku
vocaloid music >touhou
autistic gensokyo cinematic universe >kancolle
boat girl mobage
meanwhile a chuba can be playing your favorite game or having a random zatsudan
but tl;dr: they're funny (only speaking for the jps)
Its almost as if.....................................things.........................................................................................................change....................................................................................................................................................................................................................
being big in a small pond doesn't mean you're big
i wasn't a touhougay but yes still saw those touhou NND MADs but that doesn't mean anyone except my nerd friends knew about them
I wouldn't call vtubers well-known among normies, either. They're occupying a similar sort of space, where a lot of secondaries have just seen clips of them on youtube or twitch or whatever, or just been exposed through porn.
but the landscape is completely different, occupying a similar space now means that you're more mainstream
anime wasn't nearly as mainstream as it was before, weeb culture in general is just more mainstream
2 years ago
Anonymous
I'd say it's partially that, but more the internet as a whole becoming more mainstream and close-nit communities mostly dying off alongside forum culture.
The amount of people online has doubled in the past ten years alone. A lot of that's pajeets and chinks, but it turns out both groups are incredibly thirsty online and fit right into the vtuber strike zone.
>I don't remember shit like miku, 2d idols, touhou or kancolle being so big in the west.
You don't remember since you weren't around these circles when they happened newbie. >inb4 you claim to be an oldgay
Love Live's prominence was close as frick to normalgays because it was translated into English and the phone game released in English.
>I don't remember shit like miku, 2d idols, touhou or kancolle being so big in the west.
Fricking lmao. But also, the internet wasn't as widespread and firmly established back then. As in, the people who literally grew up with internet access from day one weren't old enough yet. There's such a huge difference in culture, you may as well ask why all the fads back in the 60s aren't as popular as all the rubbish today.
>shit like miku, 2d idols, touhou or kancolle being so big in the west.
You sir, are a moron. But granted, the internet back in the day wasn't as big as it is now, so I'll cut some slack on that.
Everything back then was secluded to it's own little section
I still remember finding out about touhou and just chilling on walfas website, and playing flash games here and there.
Now we got people who are buying fumos left and right without even knowing what a touhou is.
Internet got to big.
touhou homies got it tough now. between fumos, the endless troons of their fanbase, and crying about "piracy", it feels like a sinking ship. two years ago I hated vtubers and was a 2hu gay. now i'm the opposite and don't even care.
is because you never had any interest in streamers, and those things are popular with the general public, now mix that with anime and "japanese culture" and you will begin to understand better
>capeshit decline >anime boom >people being stuck inside home due the chink flu pandemic making them starved for human contact and attention >no real need for looks just have an anime png, a good voice and you are 100% good to go
>anime boom
It isnt really an anime boom (anime content on Youtube is pretty dead with basically no new channels gaining any traction). Its more of a JP otakushit culture boom
>miku, 2d idols, touhou or kancolle being so big in the west.
Because neither of these tried to be as big in the west (and 2hu is an indie franchise). Meanwhile there are big companies desperately forcing Western v-tubers as hard as they can.
I'd rather not trust a bunch of na(rrat)ives that might be posted to you because some might be posted by trolls and some might be posted by her diehard fans.
All you need to know is that she broke NDA by leeking info to third party, and company's sponsors didn't like it, so she was fired (as much to company's displeasure who were willing to forgive her but they became "too big" to let such mistakes slide by). She herself admitted breaking NDA.
>be biggest gfe machine in the company >just before valentine >discord notification by some male idol shows up >she has been suspected to be in a relationship with him before >fandom goes critical >she announces she feels terrible and takes a break >sends corpo info to japanese Keemstar to try and clear her name >breaches NDA
Something like that
>fandom goes critical
No, the guy's fanbase went critical and the anti-idol westerners followed suit because they had to own the incel chuds.
Most of her fans just wanted to wait until she made a proper statement.
Revisionists always remove the crazy yumejo b***hes from this because women can do no wrong in their eyes.

It's more that most people just don't have much awareness of yumejo at all or how crazy Mafumafu's fanbase in particular is.
Never understood why people are so quick to defend a company that makes its money by giving desperate lonely men a fake anime girl to throw money at.
Game itself is fun, I like the enemy designs each corresponding to specific vtubers. Crazy that it's free.

It's not really a problem of the company. Breaking NDA gets you fricked in the ass in any industry because a company that doesn't enforce NDA doesn't get much trust in the market and they couldn't have quietly done it in private because proof of the breach was already making circles online for over a week.
Frankly, if even 5% of the rumors of what she leaked are true, she's incredibly lucky she didn't get sued into poverty.
Vtubers are based purely for the seething it causes from roasties. Seeing them cry and shit themselves because people want cute 2d girls acting cutesy instead of watching them is great. When one of them became one of those porn streamers or whatever it was even funnier because literally everyone else on the site complained about how popular she was
That post was probably made around the time of his announcement in Smash Bros, where alleged lifetime fans of a character suddenly come out of the woodwork.
can there be another song? im getting tired of hearing suspect. and i really want to see gamers get in soon. EN first is a nice gesture but fricking stupid considering they're the 7th generation of members
Hopefully when the game gets levels past "level 1" they'll all have different music.
And as for why Holo EN, the game was probably made by predominantly English speakers, so they're probably most familiar with them. On the plus side, at least Hoe-girlve Gamers is clearly planned.
I thought she was gonna be a boring ASMR normie b***h at first but she's surprisingly nice, funny and witty. Probably the one I like the most at the moment
>didn't give a shit about vtubers >Found a clip of pikamee going "let's kill da hoe" >Start watching more and more after that. >Step back after a while and see I'm hooked.
It's not even about the waifu shit, watching these morons just brings back the good old days of achievement hunter and game grumps after school binging.
Frick I miss that.
Was ready to sink time into this like I do Vampire Survivors but I was able to beat the whole thing with like one upgrade. And best (currently available) girl is unlocked by default. Kind of hard to keep motivated to grind.
I hear there's an endless mode and my assumption is the only goal is to grind coins since there's no end.
But I don't need any, I got the girl I want and I don't need upgrades to beat the only stage with an end.
>simp devs make the ugliest cringiest prostitute the strongest >all the characters are disgusting englishers it has none of the most popular characters
so it's basically a game entirely about popularity VR jackoffs specifically for their pathetic audience?
I've noticed shilling of streamershit has actually gotten much worse in the past month
hell even YTers are trying to shill their shitty fricking videos too
>hell even YTers are trying to shill their shitty fricking videos too
You must be new if you think thats remotely new. There's several fairy prominant Youtubers who got their start shilling their stuff here
She leaked confidential information breaking the NDA
I'd rather not trust a bunch of na(rrat)ives that might be posted to you because some might be posted by trolls and some might be posted by her diehard fans.

Something like that
Summary: >Accused of having boyfriend >Hoe-girlve has always defended their talent having boyfriends and the accused always end up with more subs in the end >Rushia is too crazy to accept that though >Leaks important company secrets to Japanese Keemstar >Is shoved out the door faster than you can say Menhara
And she still insists she did nothing wrong long after admitting to leaking that shit.

Also
>Miku
>Why are vtubers so popular?
Ironic weebs, losers that want a parasocial relationship with an anime girl, and trannies
Because of "le epix gamher gürl"
Simps.
If miku started saying "gibu me ur money~" with her sweet voice then simps would've done so without hesitation.
I don't know anything about the other girls or care for them either way but I am sure they all have some kind of interesting facet about them that attracts viewers.
those are still niche things
>miku
vocaloid music
>touhou
autistic gensokyo cinematic universe
>kancolle
boat girl mobage
meanwhile a chuba can be playing your favorite game or having a random zatsudan
but tl;dr: they're funny (only speaking for the jps)
It's not worth explaining. gays like that would rather subtly brag about not being into something than just watch clips and see what the appeal is.
It's streaming and anime fused together. There's no way in hell it WOULDN'T ever explode in popularity.
>miku
>touhou
>not big in some western spheres
vtuber seethers are so delusional its unreal
Underagegays don't remember the era when cat pictures and touhou ruled the internet.
Its almost as if.....................................things.........................................................................................................change....................................................................................................................................................................................................................
>implying japanese shit like touhou and miku became less popular leading up to vtubers
being big in a small pond doesn't mean you're big
i wasn't a touhougay but yes still saw those touhou NND MADs but that doesn't mean anyone except my nerd friends knew about them
I wouldn't call vtubers well-known among normies, either.
I'd say it's partially that, but more the internet as a whole becoming more mainstream and close-nit communities mostly dying off alongside forum culture.
The amount of people online has doubled in the past ten years alone. A lot of that's pajeets and chinks, but it turns out both groups are incredibly thirsty online and fit right into the vtuber strike zone.
once again normies ruin everything
>Everything back then was secluded to it's own little section
It was a more innocent time.
I still remember finding out about touhou and just chilling on walfas website, and playing flash games here and there.
Now we got people who are buying fumos left and right without even knowing what a touhou is.
Internet got to big.
touhou homies got it tough now. between fumos, the endless troons of their fanbase, and crying about "piracy", it feels like a sinking ship. two years ago I hated vtubers and was a 2hu gay. now i'm the opposite and don't even care.
>walfas
That's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
Funnily enough, he's relevant again thanks to vtubers.
I didn't know that. Ame is the best so the walfas creator did a good job.
anon the walfas guys made smol ame. honestly its funny as shit seeing so much old 2hu stuff come back in vtuber fans.
She should still ring a bell, she's moved to the next big thing besides touhou
>She
>she
Picrel for streaming.
Holobronies mostly watch the English ones though.
is because you never had any interest in streamers, and those things are popular with the general public, now mix that with anime and "japanese culture" and you will begin to understand better
>capeshit decline
>anime boom
>people being stuck inside home due the chink flu pandemic making them starved for human contact and attention
>no real need for looks just have an anime png, a good voice and you are 100% good to go
They were, just not in a place where you could see it, but now everyone is in the same place at the same time because of how modern social media works
I only watch Mori, Ame, and Ina.
Don't care about the others
Video games?
HoloCure.
i love this outfit. it's armpit central

she was kicked out for breaching contract.
qrd?
She leaked confidential information breaking the NDA
I'd rather not trust a bunch of na(rrat)ives that might be posted to you because some might be posted by trolls and some might be posted by her diehard fans.
All you need to know is that she broke NDA by leeking info to third party, and company's sponsors didn't like it, so she was fired (as much to company's displeasure who were willing to forgive her but they became "too big" to let such mistakes slide by). She herself admitted breaking NDA.
>be biggest gfe machine in the company
>just before valentine
>discord notification by some male idol shows up
>she has been suspected to be in a relationship with him before
>fandom goes critical
>she announces she feels terrible and takes a break
>sends corpo info to japanese Keemstar to try and clear her name
>breaches NDA
Something like that
>fandom goes critical
No, the guy's fanbase went critical and the anti-idol westerners followed suit because they had to own the incel chuds.
Most of her fans just wanted to wait until she made a proper statement.
Revisionists always remove the crazy yumejo b***hes from this because women can do no wrong in their eyes.
It's more that most people just don't have much awareness of yumejo at all or how crazy Mafumafu's fanbase in particular is.
>"you shall not leak confidential information"
>*leaks confidential information*
>reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Never understood why people are so quick to defend a company that makes its money by giving desperate lonely men a fake anime girl to throw money at.
Game itself is fun, I like the enemy designs each corresponding to specific vtubers. Crazy that it's free.
It's not really a problem of the company. Breaking NDA gets you fricked in the ass in any industry because a company that doesn't enforce NDA doesn't get much trust in the market and they couldn't have quietly done it in private because proof of the breach was already making circles online for over a week.
Frankly, if even 5% of the rumors of what she leaked are true, she's incredibly lucky she didn't get sued into poverty.
what a fricking nerds /vt/rannys are
>/vt/rannys
You're still trying to force this, troony?

Cute Noel
God I want to drink Noel's milk straight from the tap
Vtubers are based purely for the seething it causes from roasties. Seeing them cry and shit themselves because people want cute 2d girls acting cutesy instead of watching them is great. When one of them became one of those porn streamers or whatever it was even funnier because literally everyone else on the site complained about how popular she was

My wife Mel
For me, its RBC.

let me know when the superior JP girls are in
It's not especially worth playing yet with only 1 real level anyways.
Wtf you all told me they were ugly men irl? Ina probably looks attractive with makeup on as well, thats 5/5
don't even think that's her. just some random asian girl
Smol Ame game final update when?
I’ll pound her into the ground, if you get my meaning.
What upgrades should I prioritize?
XP
Lunatios

Fatal Fury and King of Fighters are nowhere as close.
That post was probably made around the time of his announcement in Smash Bros, where alleged lifetime fans of a character suddenly come out of the woodwork.
It is when he was revealed
You can tell he was mind-broken by technicolored horse reaction images.
I love Ina!
>NO breasts
>NO ASS
Why would anyone even want to watch her?
>HURR DURR BUT THE FAN ART!
Even Ina says it isnt canon
Ina doesn't need those because she has big fat veiny tentacles ready to penetrate any other vtuber
that sweater looks awesome in person too.
Marine, Botan and Robocco are the best.
there's like one complaint i got for this
can there be another song? im getting tired of hearing suspect. and i really want to see gamers get in soon. EN first is a nice gesture but fricking stupid considering they're the 7th generation of members
I assume they plan on putting a jukebox like system in later on with a bunch of songs. At this point I just play whatever music I want.
>he doesn't just mute the game and play Radhan's theme on loop
Hopefully when the game gets levels past "level 1" they'll all have different music.
And as for why Holo EN, the game was probably made by predominantly English speakers, so they're probably most familiar with them. On the plus side, at least Hoe-girlve Gamers is clearly planned.
Thought those things in the lower right corner were Schnitzels from the thumbnail
rape
I hate Ina so fricking much bros
Why?
He probably got singled out by one of her insults, or he's talking about the game.
t. Ina
t. someone who asks for drawing advice but never listens or practices
fatass...
Quick rundown on the sudden influx of ass focused fanart of her?
Her 3d model glitched in a recent stream and showed her backside and the clothes made it seem like she has a humongous ass.
where can I see this?
>clothes made it seem like she has a humongous ass
Ass still looks flat in that screenshot. Are people fricking blind?
It also brought back that one time Ina said "Let me just move my giant ass..."
My favorites are the one where the spine poking out
I hate mori more
t. backseating grey
>Calls the entirety of her fanbase losers
>Gets away with it
does this "game" have calli in it,and if it does, does it have a mini game where you can frick conner
Yes, it's a game.
Yes, Calli's one of the first playable characters, and kinda OP.
Do not try to ship her with Tungsten Rat's hubby.
Any ChumChads?
I want to use Gura more, but I always lose early
Just stock up Chibi skills and you're good
Her whirlpools are legit pretty great. I like her main attack too.

What's the appeal of the Hoe-girlve fandom?
friend simulators with anime girls that say your name if you give them money
I wanna watch Gura and Amelia frick. That is all.
vtubergays are the new touhougays.
I thought she was gonna be a boring ASMR normie b***h at first but she's surprisingly nice, funny and witty. Probably the one I like the most at the moment
>didn't give a shit about vtubers
>Found a clip of pikamee going "let's kill da hoe"
>Start watching more and more after that.
>Step back after a while and see I'm hooked.
It's not even about the waifu shit, watching these morons just brings back the good old days of achievement hunter and game grumps after school binging.
Frick I miss that.
Someone post he picture with the ugly ass persons behind hoe-girlve en
What are your thoughts on vtuber/character from Wolfenstein The Old Blood Pippa?
Was ready to sink time into this like I do Vampire Survivors but I was able to beat the whole thing with like one upgrade. And best (currently available) girl is unlocked by default. Kind of hard to keep motivated to grind.
Beating Stage Mode is a given and surviving to Yagoos in endless without Ina is a bit tougher
I hear there's an endless mode and my assumption is the only goal is to grind coins since there's no end.
But I don't need any, I got the girl I want and I don't need upgrades to beat the only stage with an end.
>simp devs make the ugliest cringiest prostitute the strongest
>all the characters are disgusting englishers it has none of the most popular characters
Update when?
so it's basically a game entirely about popularity VR jackoffs specifically for their pathetic audience?
I've noticed shilling of streamershit has actually gotten much worse in the past month

>hell even YTers are trying to shill their shitty fricking videos too

>hell even YTers are trying to shill their shitty fricking videos too
That's not even a remotely new thing for here
>redditlive
because vtubers are based on jap idol culture, i have to assume most vtubers had to frick old japanese buisness men to get their jobs.
however, pikamee seems like a genuine femcel, shut-in NEET, and thats why i like her.
the HECK is that thing on the left
Is attack speed upgrades worth it? I don't know if it makes a reasonable difference
I haven't seen any vtuber clips in like a year and a half, why did Rushia frick off and how was it negatively?

And she still insists she did nothing wrong long after admitting to leaking that shit.
