Only fun thing to do is make some cursed roleplay build. Playing a standard empire or metagaming is a massive snore and the ai rolls over for you as soon as you start snowballing.
Bought all the DLC up to and including Overlord, bu tnothing since. The game has been saturated. All further monetization other than another endgame crisis will not be worth the money.
i wanted to like this game so bad but i agree OP, even when things happen its like nothing happened.
Star Trek Infinite is interesting, but the day 1 DLC for the Klingon language/voice actor/"VO" is dishonorable.
Combat needs a complete overhaul. Wars suck, they are laggy, quick, and boring. There is objectively no reason to do any of the evil shit you can do in them. Land invasions are a joke, space battles are a complete mess that look awful.
I feel more morally justified pirating Paradox games than I would downloading AAA slop from somebody like Microsoft or EA
I bought EU4 and about 6 of the DLC as they came out and then realized what a bunch of greedy israelites paradox are. I've never given them a single cent since.
