I had a lot of fun playing this game, and I hate open world games. I liked the little platforming segments around the world. The only ones I hate was wall running because it didn't work well.
Cyber stages were neat too, but the difficulty for S rank was all over the place. A couple were pretty challenging, but the rest ranged from laughably easy to maybe needing one retry.
Thank God they added the jukebox, because the base over world music isn't great.
Also, Break Through it All was the best song. I damn near blew a load when I parried a missile back at Wyvern as the song got to the part >WHAT GOES AROUND >COMES BACK AROUND AGAIN!
It's just pure spectacle, and the ending scene of the Knight fight was pure K I N O
Sleeping with Sirens is just screamo, i listened to them when they released the first album. And Kellin Quinn lends his voice to other similar bands, so I knew exactly who it was when I first heard Undefeatable. I still enjoy screamo from time to time.
When you play Update 3's "expansion" your opinion on the game will change drastically in either direction. It is a complete mess that you will either love or hate. (Maybe hate slightly less than you otherwise would have before due to patches and rebalances, but still.)

Nope, part of the plot is a "homage" to Please Save My Earth, with Shadow and Maria being stand-ins for the two main characters.
Admirable effort, but this kinda looks like crap. They couldn't even get the drop for city escape to line up with sonic hitting the ground like in the original game.
The animations are clearly broken too which is unfortunate.
