It'll still make $1B day one. It's the game, not the platforms that matter.

We also don't know how much the titles would've sold had they launched on other platforms. However, I can point to Exoprimal that launched on everything but the Switch and wasn't helped. Forspoken launched on PS5/PC and that didn't help it. Meanwhile, Tears of the Kingdom launched on only one platform and sold 20M copies in 3 months. MHW and MHR both launched on consoles and took 8 months before coming to PC. GTA VI is not launching on PC. It'll do just fine without that market.
If the game isn't good like Forspoken and Exoprimal or if people don't care about it like Alan Wake 2, it doesn't matter how many platforms a game is on. So, why do companies take exclusivity deals? Because they're not confident enough in their products to go without the help. Not to mention if the game is good, they can just port it later for more sales later.

Endwalker was a blunder. Dragonflight wasn't. FF14 had less troony presence (besides its community) but literally just announced they cast a troony VA for a Dawntrail main character. Examples off the top of my head, besides Shadowbringers and Endwalker 6.0, would be the entire Doma half of Stormblood, the Omega raids, and the adventures of WoL, Ysayle, and Estinien. People suck off her DrK storyline a lot, personally I'm eh about it but it's definitely one of the better job quests.

Marauder/Warrior
Summoner and Reaper but you can't access Reaper until your main job is something like level 70.
Of the tanks, Marauder/Warrior is easier
Of the DPS, probably Lancer/Dragoon
Of the Healers, Conjurer/White Mage
Never play through the MSQ as a conjurer/white mage
It's easy, yeah, but it's also boring as frick because you have two damage buttons all the way till level 56

no, the community is kind to new tanks, just let people know you're new and remember to AOE everything with your stance on.
If you die to mechanics (unlikely, you can literally solo all of ARR up to Titan on a marauder with level sync), someone will help you learn it quickly.
Normal content is braindead easy.
Biggest mistake new tanks make is not aoeing, not only is it the best way to hold aggro but tanks gain access to their aoe skills before (way before some) dps jobs so you're actually doing more damage than anyone else in the party on trash pulls in low level dungeons.
Back before everything was dumbed down you wouldn't get aoe with tanks till way later down the line (mrd being an exception if I recall correctly) so you had to actually keep track of mobs individually within a pull and make sure your aggro is on point for each one of them.

Honestly don't even bother getting into the game if you don't enjoy story heavy games, there are better mmo options if you just want gameplay on gameplay with minimal excuses. That's not a criticism of the game, you just need to acknowledge what it's going for before you get buttmad when it's not what you hoped for.
Seconding this. It's story heavy as hell. Especially ARR and HW, almost every quest is multiple cutscenes. I personally like XIV, but it's not everyone's cup of coffee, and it's good to go into it informed.

main difference is endwalker's trailer was a culmination of 10 years of buildup from established lore, new players or people who have never touched the game will still see some familiar things to get excited about with what little knowledge they have from earlier trailers or parts in the game. the musical timing with the visuals was also much better

your gcd relative to the fight timeline is entirely dependent on how closely you attacked the boss from the guy who pulled it, there’s zero skill involved. why do you think p8s p1 had so many dps pulling and randomly dying to the double autos, it was because they wanted to sync their gcd consistently so they could avoid dropping gcds for snake, which just led to people pulling the boss earlier and earlier before the timer said start (sometimes at 2 seconds lol)
Ideally you never use it to disengage since you want to keep fast gcd rolling. SSS only has one niche usage and its when bosses are about to disappear (downtime) so you SSS right before they go away.

Not in ARR. There's some bits of interesting set up in ARR, but they're mostly drawn out among a bunch of quests.
But the trial is free and you can play all the way until Stormblood. You can rush through to Stormblood or do it bit by bit whenever you feel like it, and nothing is really lost other than your time.

Queues start earlier in the day and go later in the night, there are also multiple games running at a time so queues are quicker.
The first part is easy to verify, but how can you tell there are more concurrent games happening at peak hours than the other DCs?
If the queues tip over during prime hours into the 7-9 minute range you know there's only one instance running. You can also tell by the people you are playing with, there are a lot of FL regulars who queue consistently throughout the day and you'll notice you get put into different batches of players as you queue.
I don't know about now since I'm not subbed, but for most of 2023, I was and Aether's FL queue times between reset and midnight PST were rarely above 5 mins.

Primal has the most games throughout the day, the queues start earlier and end later, Crystal is a clear second and Aether lags behind. The tradeoff is now Aether is the place to go for raiding PFs.

I've just never come across someone saying Primal was the most active FL DC followed by Crystal and Aether.
