>beautiful graphics, does a great job at portraying killafornia and all the subhumans that inhabit it turned into zombies

>main menu theme is great
>bashing a zombie's brain in or cutting off their legs with a sword is great fun
>hub areas instead of the tired old open world formula

>characters can get annoying, especially the pc's as they talk way too much
>game never takes itself seriously at all, which is alright overall but some moments would have benefited from a more serious approach

>the weapon stats are confusing as hell, especially the speed, as a value of 1 is different from each weapon to the next

I wouldn't say that, it isn't tlou level but the main story seemed fairly serious with moments like Michael's death and the stuff with the doctor near the end of the game.

there are a few jump scares and if zombies scare you yes. But overall the tone of the game is very light and playful. I had fun solo
not scary at all and yes its fun, I played it solo since I pirated it and had a good time with it
sometimes when you open a door a zombie jumps at you and grabs you
Some jumpscares and a tiny bit of body horror. It’s more of an action game than a horror one.
