Adachi seemed pretty good in school, but also lazy and always was looking for the easy way not the correct way or the most rewarding way. I might be the only person who ever thought that, but him being the culprit felt so last minute. It's odd because it was probably planned from the start, but at the point in the plot where you confront him, the entire game kinda lost me.

2/3 of "investigaion" portion of the game was added literally to the last 3 hours of the game with barely anything relating to it in the middle. It's like the developers had gotten so deep into their slice-of-life fanservice part that they forgot it's supposed to be a murder mystery as well.
There's plenty of foreshadowing all over the game with the earliest I can remember being Dojima casually deducing the culprit is from the city during the first murder scene with Adachi right behind him.
I actually appreciate having a murder mystery that's not so obvious for most of the game but Adachi casually leaking information all the time is also pretty blatant, it all comes down to whether you buy his dorky fool act that's meant to throw you off from considering him a suspect.

Probably also had a superiority complex which coupled with his attitude towards life led him to constantly under achieve and then get mad and frustrated when things didn't go his way. The whole point of his character is that he's what happens when people chose to not make bonds with other people. Whether or not he's a sociopath or a narcissist because he was made that way or he became one because of society or his family ultimately doesn't matter because he continuously chooses not to take responsibility for his situation and put the effort into his life. It's not a coincidence that Adachi and Yu have the same VA.

I might be the only person who ever thought that, but him being the culprit felt so last minute. It's odd because it was probably planned from the start, but at the point in the plot where you confront him, the entire game kinda lost me.
Whenever there is a murder mystery if the culprit is someone you have considered but that you dismissed as being too corny or lame as an option things have gone wrong.

2/3 of "investigaion" portion of the game was added literally to the last 3 hours of the game with barely anything relating to it in the middle. It's like the developers had gotten so deep into their slice-of-life fanservice part that they forgot it's supposed to be a murder mystery as well.
There's plenty of foreshadowing all over the game with the earliest I can remember being Dojima casually deducing the culprit is from the city during the first murder scene with Adachi right behind him.
I actually appreciate having a murder mystery that's not so obvious for most of the game but Adachi casually leaking information all the time is also pretty blatant, it all comes down to whether you buy his dorky fool act that's meant to throw you off from considering him a suspect.
