I want to be mommy's pusy slave!
Not sure about ARPGs in general but it's the best Diablo-like I've played, the only others I enjoyed were D3 and Chaosbane so take my recommendation with a grain of salt.
It's fun, but what's the point in playing right now when the Season isn't even out yet? I'll just burn myself out-
No
Got to wt4 and dropped the game
Theres no real content beyond that
Game needs years of content to be playable
Skill issue
Content is a skill issue, kay
We're getting more content in a few weeks when season 1 starts
Not enough imo
Starting over isnt fun
Gonna just be a couple uniques, most of those which they deactivated currently
its shit and has basically nothing that made D2 good.
Not even joking they removed every single thing that made Diablo iconic.
Name 5 things
see
Also no control over stats for min/maxing
D2 was never good, anon. Seriously, like every fricking ARPG is better than D2 when you aren't blinded by nostalgia.
no set items
no magic find
no low level uniques, uniques locked to endgame
no runes and runewords
no israeliteels
gems are even more useless
LESS actual skills per class than D2
confusing/loose Act structure
quest dont matter
NO COW LEVEL
No trading
no shared stash
n o housing
paid hideouts will be a thing, alongside stash tabs and other quality of life micro trans actions. I can't wait for them to reveal the games true form
>no shared stash
Beg your pardon?
sorry, if it is i take it back. Ive only got 1 character so far and I saw someone else say it so not actually sure if its true.
shill thread
best ARPG for sure.
Here are the rating:
Diablo 4 = 6.5/10
Diablo 3 = 5.0/10
PoE = 5.5/10
Enjoyed the story but the end game? Meh.
D3 still king but maybe D4 will get there after a while like it took D3.
>Enjoyed the story
Imagine playing through it 10 more times. Still enjoy it?
>just wait for the end game
>lol I can't believe you're judging the entire game during act 1
>the beta isn't even the full game
>you didn't even play it and just hate blizzard
I remember the above excuses from the drones. Where are they now?
What are you babbling about and quoting my post?
You don’t have to play the story but once. The campaign alone was worth the 70 in fun and gameplay hours. I don’t know what point you’re trying to prove but you failed.
>I don’t know what point you’re trying to prove but you failed.
It's shit and you know it LMFAO. You were probably shilling D4 a week ago.
Even with a meh end game it’s GOTY at current standings. Sorry you’re a poor 3rd worlder who couldn’t afford to pass the barrier of entry lmaooo.
>GOTY
You've got to be kidding. Even drones aren't this delusional. I hate Zelda and even that game is far superior.
Soon™
>grind the same bllshit again
boring
It's nice to play, but there's some really shitty design decisions and not enough content.
Why can every enemy stop me from playing for multiple seconds by freezing, slowing, stunning, fearing, etc?
Why does the game keep shitting legendaries at me, when there's only 3 per class? I keep finding the same shit over and over and over and over again, making everything feel sort of predictable and awful.
Why is there individualized loot? It defeats the point of having multiple characters and shared stashes, when you can't even find any loot for a class youre not currently playing.
Why do the enemies level up alongside me? What's the point in trying to become stronger when the enemies get stronger too?
I'm on difficulty IV now, and it just feels repetitive and unrewarding.
>t's nice to play, but...
That sounds nice to play to you? The rest of your post sounds like you hate it.
I still like exploring the map and hitting things, I like how my entire account can benefit from me doing these dungeons, increasing reputation, and finding altars of Lilith. It just sucks that it's the literal only thing in the game giving me a sense of progress. I just think it's getting stale, cause I finished my build 30 levels ago and now I've been looking for more of the exact same shit with slightly bigger numbers for a couple dozen hours while the gameplay never changes.
They should have reserved some unique and legendary drops for higher difficulties/higher levels to give the player an incentive to keep pushing beyond level 50.
Were the Unstoppable and Vulnerable mechanics, dare I say, a bad idea?
I can't get over how bland and boring the overworld is and the entire game is running from one quest marker to the next with no enemies anywhere what's the fricking point holy shit this is bad.
>a week after launch
>playerbase is already imploding
>Now that the dust has settled,
false, gaytard.
>just run around and find 100+ altars
This is destroying any enjoyment I had
I didn't even bother. It would be pretty fun if they put them all in little nooks on the map, but they put most of them in the most moronic spots. Only a few of the ones I found were are actually in interesting spots, and by interesting I mean you had to climb a wall or jump a gap to get to them which isn't THAT interesting... but it still felt like the only part of the entire world map that wasn't AI generated
https://d4builds.gg/map/
I used this map to check off the ones I found. It still took me all day and wasn't very enjoyable.
When you need a chore checklist to play a video game, just stop.
"Chore checklist" describes every MMORPG I've ever played. I have no idea how people find this shit enjoyable.
GW2 is the only one that made it actually somewhat fun
Yeah I can't stomach this shit anymore. It can be decent if it's a completely optional/no power type of thing where you chase some sometimes when you want to play the game and chill out or so. But increasingly video games are just filling up with busy work and filler, it's insane.
You're supposed to start on Elite, not Normal. Normal is basically Journo' mode.
>tfw grim yawn has the best necromancy out of all arpg
not even in the top 5
blizz did it again
i got fooled again
frick im dumb
Grim Yawn is better
Ye ye muh items, muh affix, muh builds
Everything worth nothing when the gameplay is just boring as shit
Its called Grim Yawn for a reason. You try hard to not fell asleep while playing.
The problem with Grim Dawn is that everything level scales even worse than D4 and it's way, way too easy. Everything dies in half of a second by act 3 and then the game just becomes a borefest.
I don't find level scaling bad in grim dawn, you still feel like you benefitted from a level compared to D4 which monster stats scale like greater rifts in D3, per point on the paragon board doesn't match the scaling of monsters levels. Normal in GD is pretty easy, Elite will be a slight gear check, ultimate is a defense check. The biggest issue is how strong pairing high Defense with Attack Damage Convert to Health, GD still suffers from DLC areas being harder than base game even though they tried to fix it.
Wolcen is better.
I played that game recently and thought it was pretty cool. I don't understand the hate.
it was really quite buggy on launch, and the alpha was extremely different to the final product — with a freely rotatable camera among other things.
>arpg
wh40k Inquisitor Martyr is better

>Further adjustments to Elite monster rates in dungeons
Does this mean a nerf ?
It's shit.
infinite treadmill of numbers going up forever
why do people like this shit
